Vacation Rental Description

  Golf course villa in Mill Creek Country Club in Franklin, N.C. 
Elevation 2,240 feet. Gated golf-course community surrounded by the 
Nantahala National Forest. Beautifully decorated (not just "rental" 
furniture) 2 bedrooms (master with King bed, guest bedroom with 
double bed) and 2 full baths, fireplace, A/C, large screened porch 
overlooking fairway, cable, TV, phone, dishwasher, microwave, 
dishwasher, ice maker, and laundry room. Kitchen is fully equipped 
and linens are supplied. The screened porch is above the 14th tee 
with a wonderful view of the Nantahala forest and yes, a babbling 
brook nearby.  A great place for a relaxing evening dinner 
or just to read and rest.  

Vacation Rental Amenities

Mill Creek's 18 hole championship course is available every day as 
well as the tennis courts, near-by hiking trails, and clubhouse.

Villa amenities include furnished kitchen with microwave, coffee 
maker, toaster, cookware, utensils, dishes, garbage disposal, and 
eat-in kitchen. Linens are provided.  (bring your toothbrush)  
Dining room, fireplace, furnished screened porch for sitting and 
eating. Separate laundry room with washer and dryer. 
Telephone, ceiling fans in living room and bedrooms, television with 
cable in living room and Master bedroom.

Chamber of Commerce.  

Activities and Attractions

This golf Villa at Mill Creek Country Club is 4 miles west of 
Franklin, NC., on Highway 64 W.  It is in a growing and family 
oriented small town.

 Within an hour's drive north is the nation's largest Cherokee 
Indian Reservation and Casino. Well worth the drive for gambling or 
outdoor activities such as kayaking or fishing.
 Tour the beautiful gardens and winery of the Biltmore Estate of 
George Vanderbilt only 1 1/2 hrs east of Franklin.  Asheville has 
countless concerts, live stage performances, art exhibits and other 
cultural events at all times of the year.
  
Others attractions include the Smoky Mountain Railroad ride through 
the mountains, Nantahala Outdoor Center (white water rafting), and 
access to the Appalachian Trail from less than 1 mile away.  There 
is also easy access to Asheville, Knoxville, Atlanta, and Greenville 
by scenic highways.  Chatanooga, TN. is less than 2 hours away.

Locally, Franklin has world famous ruby mines, antique shops and the 
largest antique mall in North Carolina, The Whistle Stop Mall, and 
the Scottish Tartans Museum.
 
Join the locals for it's free Saturday night "Pickin' On The Square" 
in downtown Franklin or check out the local coffee shop (the 
Rathskeller) and it's local entertainment on Fridays and Saturdays 
with a latte or glass of wine.

Vacation Rental Rates

US $135.00 night for 1 week minimum.  SPECIAL $750.00 week/2 week 
minimum (or $1500/2week). Monthly-$2200 Deposit $200.00 due 7-10 
days after reservation is made. Full payment due 1 month before 
arrival. Ck-in after 3p.m. check out 11 a.m. $50.00 non-refundable 
cleaning fee.  Cancellation fee? yes, sorry about that.
