Vacation Rental Description

Only a 2-3 minute walk to the beach and river from this Humarock cottage - ideally located on a 
quiet dead-end street off Central Ave. (ocean side) and less than a 5 minute walk to Humarock's 
center.  It is a one level house with five rooms that includes a den, living room, kitchen and two 
bedrooms.  It sleeps 5-7 and features the following:

 * Bedroom (1) -- has a queen bed. 
 * Bedroom (2) -- has a bunk bed, a twin bed and a loft area w/skylight.  
 * Den -- has a full-size futon couch, cable TV and AC unit. 
 * Living room -- has a gas fireplace, a cathedral ceiling w/skylight and cable TV w/DVD.
 * Kitchen -- is fully equipped and includes a gas range, microwave and refrigerator w/icemaker. 
 * Bathroom -- has a full-size washer & dryer and a shower.

Outside features: 
 * Large sunny deck with gas grill & patio furniture.
 * Enclosed outdoor shower (hot/cold).
 * Shed with storage space for bikes or fishing equipment. 
 * Parking for 3-4 cars.
 * Private beach access. 

Additional features:
 * Cable TV and local area phone service included.
 * AC unit in den and ceiling & floor fans in other rooms.    
 * Linens and bath towels are provided.
 * Beach chairs also provided for guest's use. 

Activities and Attractions

Humarock is a quiet seaside community in the town of Scituate. MA.  It lies between the Atlantic 
Ocean and South River and is approximately half way between Boston and Plymouth. 

In the village area of Humarock there is a marina w/public dock, several shops that include a gift 
shop, convenience store, coffee shop, fresh fish market and three restaurants - Sands End, Bridgeway 
and Mad Fish (with outdoor dining on the river) - all within a five minute walk of the cottage. 
   
Only a ten minute drive away from Humarock is: 
 ~ Scituate Harbor  with it's marina, shops & restaurants,
 ~ Route 3 which takes you north to Boston or south to Cape Cod, 
 ~ Scituate's MBTA Greenbush Rail Line which travels into South Station in Boston.
