Beautiful 1800 sq. ft. log home on Lake huron with sandy beach built
in 1996. Crashing waves. Fully equiped, all built in kitchen
appliances, satelite TV with dvd/vcr player. Gas Grill, firepit,
Large deck wraps around house. 16x8 screened porch with foldout
futon
bed. Master bdrm features full bath, 2 person, 7 jet jacuzzi tub in
front of bay window overlooking the lake, private 8x8 deck, and king
size cedar log bed. Downstairs bdrm has bunk beds, the other bdrm
has
a full double bed. Canoe. Pictures do not do this place any justice!

This log home "lodge" was a positive experience from start to finish; it surpassed our expectations! The ambiance was phenominal, from the stunning interior and comfortable lay-out of the overall floor plan, to the incredible sun rises and the even more spectacular moon rises. The lake view from the great room, as well as the master bedroom and balcony, were priceless. A very,very peaceful location and setting overall. I was a "hero" with our family group ( brothers and Dad ) for discovering this gem...and was given an overwhelmingly hands-down vote of approval to make this our annual destination of choice, hopefully for years to come! I definitely want to book a return stay with my wife and kids as well -- they would love this place. Thanks Rob for your friendly assistance and for providing such an outstanding rental property...definitely count us in, God willing, for the same time frame in 2012!!

Recommended for: age 55+, families with young children, families with teenagers, girls getaway, pet-friendly, sight seeing, romantic getaway

Awesome Beach Front Lodge

Absolutley great spot! The pictures do not do this property justice. Unbelievably quiet. Brought 2 children and our golden retriever. All 3 enjoyed it beyond our dreams. Propane gas grill, plenty of indoor and outdoor seating, clean towels, sheets, etc. Close to a trout farm, lighthouse and one bedroom school house for tours. Very relaxing, large beach. Grocery store nearby for basics, limited butcher shop and seafood options. Train tracks nearby which were mesmerizing for all! Highly recommend!
