Aficionado - Pointe West Resort Beachfront House in Galveston

Come and enjoy the beach waters, the gulf breeze, the sunrise and the
moon light from this newly constructed, 4 bedrooms, 4 baths,
Beachfront Home that will accommodate up to 12. The property was
completed August of 2006 in beautiful Pointe West - A Coastal Texas
Resort - on the west end of Galveston Island
Aficionado is bright, spacious and very enjoyable; it is perfect for
enjoying a memorable time with the family and friends.
Aficionado's master bedroom has a king size bed, cable TV, DVD player,
private bath with a whirlpool tub and access to its own deck with a
relaxing hammock overlooking the Gulf of Mexico. Second bedroom has a
queen size bed with its own private bath. Third bedroom also has a
queen size bed. And the Fourth bedroom, designed with the kids in
mind, has two sets of bunkbeds and cable TV with DVD and VHS player.
The kitchen, dining room and living room have tile flooring with an
open floor plan separated by an island bar with granite counter tops
which makes it great for those special gatherings with your family and
friends. There is also another large deck off of the living room
overlooking the Gulf of Mexico. There is a Flat screen TV with cable
plus surround sound DVD/CD/radio equipment in the living room along
with a double futon. The kitchen has all new stainless steel
appliances, full size refrigerator, oven, stove, microwave,
dishwasher, coffee pot, blender, and a toaster oven. Home also has
central air and heat, telephone with free long distance, wireless
internet, and a cabana shower downstairs for after the beach rinse offs.
Great set of amenities and options are available to our guests for
their entertainement or just plain relaxation!

A. The Aficionado property provides Beachfront View, Relaxing
Atmosphere, Great Fishing of the Beach due to its proximity to San
Luis pass:
The property is equipped with Central AC, cable TV, wireless internet,
telephone with free long distance in the U.S., fully equipped kitchen,
washer & dryer, king, queen, bunk beds and double futon. All bedrooms
and family room with ceiling fans and TVs in the living room,
children's room and master bedroom. Spacious 1st floor balcony with
chairs and table and 2nd floor balcony with hammock. Downstairs patio
with picnic table and barbeque, beach shower and garage. Private beach
access for cottages.
B. Galveston Country Club Amenities include Golf, Dinning and Swimming:
The Galveston Country Club is not only the oldest private country club
in Texas, it is also an important part of historic Galveston Island
where gracious traditions are still honored. Founded in 1898, the
Galveston Country Club represents a life of elegant ease in this
beautiful seaside resort by Lake Como, on the Island's West End. The
scenic eighteen hole championship course, located near Galveston Bay,
features numerous water holes, over fifty sand bunkers, hundreds of
palms and oleanders, and an abundance of beautiful water fowl. Not
exceptionally long, our course requires precision shot making and good
course management.
C. Pointe West Resort Amenities include Swimming, Dinning, Kayaking,
Fishing, bird watching and Exercising:
The Pointe West Resort provides navigable lagoons for canoeing and
kayaking, a bayside club house for swimming and sunning, several parks
and pavilions for relaxing. The spectacular Gulf front beach club has
an infinity edge pool, children pool, well-equipped fitness center,
and a bar and grill serving casual seasonal fare. Connecting these
amenity centers are miles of paved resort trails perfect for biking,
strolling or electric carts. Our guests may use resort amenities
subject to resort rules.
D. Galveston City amenities include but is not limitted to shopping
and dining on The Strand, playing at the Schlitterbahn, exploring the
Moody Gardens Pyramids and enjoying the Lone Star Flight Museum.
Galveston proper is only 20 minutes away.
