Great Location and View

The location and view were perfect. Overall the home was comfortable and clean. Nice to have Boogie Boards, beach chairs, and snorkeling equipment. The lack of airflow in the home made it stifling warm at times. Outside temps were more pleasant than interior. More comfortable patio chairs to enjoy the spectacular view.

Great Spot for a Beach Vacation

We enjoyed our visit to this charming cottage. The lanai was perfectly located to see and hear the ocean, and the beach was just steps away. Highly recommended!

Ocean Lover's Paradise

This house was everything we could ask for on the big Island of Hawaii since we are ocean lovers who enjoy snorkeling, whale watching from our lanai, and watching surfers tackle some nice waves. The home is decorated in an Oriental style that is very soothing and the furniture is very comfortable. The beds were smaller than advertised, both coming in at queen instead of king, but the mattresses were very comfortable and sleeping was great with the windows open for a cooling breeze. The air conditioners in the bedrooms were adequate, but not great in the one on the south side of the house, so if it were hot out that bedroom would be less enjoyable. The kitchen was well equipped and the gas BBQ worked great. We made good use of the boogie boards and beach chairs, as well as the supply of beach towels. The proximity to Kona is great and it isn't too noisy even with Allii Dr. going by in front - a great view across it made all the difference. When 2 couples travel together as opposed to a family, it sure is nice to have 2 bathrooms, and these were dandy. All in all, it was a great place, super location, and a very good experience.
