Montana barn style home located in the foothills just 9 miles from
Yellowstone's original entrance in Gardiner Montana. Red Barn Retreat
is surrounded by National Forest with panoramic views of Electric
Peak, Yankee Jim Canyon and the Yellowstone River. Fly fishing doesn't
get any better or any closer with the Yellowstone flowing by and the
pristine river's, creeks and streams of Yellowstone National Park at
your doorstep. Hiking, rafting, horseback riding, wildlife viewing
await or if you feel like relaxing just stretch out on the green grass
by the garden out front and take a snooze!
We have three bedrooms with queen, king and bunk style beds -
plenty of room for 8 but we also welcome smaller families. The barn is
exquisitely decorated with slate floors, gorgeous stained glass,
wildlife photography and inspiration artwork - you will feel right at
home! Our kitchen is complete with gas range/oven, microwave, and has
all the amenities of home. Our oak dining table seats 8 and has a
beautiful mural of the forest deer to keep you company. The custom
stone wet bar is conveniently located in the dining and living room
area, as is the gas/wood fireplace, for evenings of family fun. The
den is located on the south side of the barn and this is where you'll
find the TV/DVD and lot's of movies - it's a great place to escape,
stretch out on the leather sofa and just be! We have lot's of books
and magazines as well as a great collection of local information books
on Yellowstone hiking, fishing and the surrounding area attractions.

Enjoy the real deal in hot tubs - "Boiling River" - soak in nature
in the healing waters of Mammoth Hot Springs as they flow into the
Yellowstone - just minutes away. The steam envelopes you as the elk
come by to sip the cool waters. After a day of fun exploring
Yellowstone soak your weary body in the hot pots and then come home
and we'll have dinner waiting. Yes, we offer catered dinner's
delivered to your kitchen for your family to enjoy! It's fresh,
homecooked and all the greens and veggies come straight from our
organic gardens - give Mom a break today! Plus, we always throw in
some extras for tomorrows picnic!
We have provided the "locals favorite" hikes, picnic areas,
swimming holes, wildflower fields etc. that only locals know about.
They are all within minutes of your retreat and will leave with
wonderful memories of Yellowstone Country!
There's plenty of games, puzzles, cards, novels, coloring books and
more but an evening on the cool green grass under the stars is the way
to spend an ideal Montana evening! You're away from town, the lights,
the noise, computer's, cell phones, blackberries and there's nothing
like that to make you feel that you've truly escaped. The only sounds
you may here are the wolves at night singing you to sleep!!

2.2 millions acres of Yellowstone National Park is at your doorstep
- hiking, horseback riding, rafting, kayaking, wildlife viewing,
geyser gazing, swimming and the ultimate in fishing the pristine
rivers, creeks and pools of Yellowstone.
The Grand Tetons and Jackson Hole are on the other side of
Yellowstone and provide a great day trip. The Beartooth Highway takes
you to 12,000 feet and is one of the top 10 scenic highways in the
USA. Alpine lakes, great fishing and hiking, wildlife are only an hour
away on the must see high mountain road.
The petrified forest of Tom Miner Basin is only a few miles and
it's legal to collect petrified wood. This is one of the most
beautiful places in the west and it's a memorable way to spend a day -
picnic by the cool stream, collect petrified wood all in the pristine
high mountain forests of Montana!
"Evening in the Park" takes place in Gardiner under Electric Peak
and Roosevelt Arch the original entrance to Yellowstone. Come and be
entertained by wolf experts, fly fishing guides, artists, music and
more - expect the unexpected and the kids will love the park!
Chico Hot Springs is 1/2 hour away. This historic mountain lodge
has the greatest hot springs in the west, an award winning 5 star
dining room and the Chico Saloon has the greatest bands and libations
on earth - a true Montana adventure and a favorite among the
celebrities who live in Paradise Valley.

Spring $1,100 per week, $235 each additional night. May 1st to June 15th.
Summer $1,700 per week, $250 each additional night. June 16th to
September 10th.
Fall $1,300 per week, $235 each additional night. September 11th to
October 25th.
Winter $1,500 per week, $250 each additional night. October 26th to
April 30th.
Discounts may apply to pre-arranged tour groups or smaller family units.
