Vacation Rental Description

Enjoy a peaceful retreat in this rustic 3 bedroom, 1 bath house with all the comforts of home. 
Blue buggy pine throughout gives the home a warm cozy feel. Completely furnished. We also have 
a laundry room with washer and dryer. There is a wood stove in the living room for those cool 
winter evenings. Three decks, two covered. We have a Weber charcoal BBQ and hot tub on the
rear covered deck. 
Our cabin is located in the pines on 1.3 fenced and private acres in a beautiful, quiet 
neighborhood.

Vacation Rental Amenities

This home is completely equipped; we have a double bed, queen size hide-a-bed, a twin bed,
a day bed with a trundle and a role-away. There are games, a piano, two TVs as well as DVD 
players and a VCR.
There is a coffee pot, microwave oven, toaster, toaster oven, electric frying pan, deep fryer, 
range, dishwasher and refrigerator.  Linens are fresh, firewood is stocked, and coffee is 
available as well as paper towels, TP, dish soap, bath soap etc. 
There is a covered front deck and a covered back deck with a Weber BBQ as well as a patio table, 
bar and hot tub. For the warmer months there is a fire pit/Charcoal BBQ, child’s play structure 
a rustic log swing set and a hammock. In the winter there can be quite a lot of snow so come 
prepared. There is ample parking, including covered parking, so bring your "toys"!

Dogs are welcome. 
The property is 1.3 acres in the pines and double fenced. 
A great place for the dogs to run!

Activities and Attractions

La Pine is known as the Gateway to the Oregon Outback. From the house there is access to 
the Deschutes National Forest with many forest service roads and trails to explore. Within 
a short drive, you will find off road recreation such as ATV track and trails, snowmobile 
trails, horse camping, hiking, biking, skiing, fishing, kayaking, rafting, swimming, boating, 
picnicking, golfing, etc. 

Some other local attractions are: 
La Pine State Park (and the Heritage Tree). 
Newberry National Volcanic Monument with Paulina Peak Caldera, Paulina & East Lakes, 
Big Obsidian Flow and a five-state view! 
The high mountain lakes of Wickiup and Crane Prairie Reservoirs, Sparks, Elk, Odell, Crescent, 
Davis and Twin Lakes are also nearby.
There are also the Little Deschutes and Deschutes Rivers as well as being in close proximity 
to Mt. Bachelor, the High Desert Museum, Lava Lands, Cascade Lakes Highway and many 
other possible areas of interest. 
Around the 4th of July, La Pine celebrates with Frontier Days and the La Pine Rodeo.

Vacation Rental Rates

$85.00 a night which includes the 8% state and county tax. No minimum stay.

Holiday's and/or peak season rates are $108.00 per night which includes the 8% state 
and county tax for Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Years, Spring Break, Memorial Day, 
4th of July and Labor Day with a two-night minimum.

There is a $100 cleaning/damage deposit that is refundable if the house is 
left in the same condition as when rented, including hauling your own garbage.

Rates are kept low by attracting responsible renters who are willing to clean up after 
themselves and "leave no trace". This includes hauling your own garbage. No smoking please.
