The spacious and comfortable, 4 bedroom colonial era home is located in the quaintvillage of Tyringham on the Santarella Estate, former home of Sir
Henry Hudson Kitson, sculptor of the 'Lexington Minute Man' statue.
The Estate features the well known "Gingerbread House" with a rolling,
shingled roof to mimic the thatched-roofed cottages in Kitson's
native England and his summer 'Silo Studio', renovated as a
one-bedroom cottage, also available as a vacation rental.
The home is available daily (2 day min.), weekly or monthly as
vacation rental. With it's beautiful grounds, complete with running
brooks, lily pond, wooded paths and lovely gardens, it is a perfect,
and most unique place to spend your vacation in the Berkshires. The
colonial era house is fully furnished with many amenities.
Located just 3.5 miles off I-90 in one of the most quiet and scenic
valleys in the region!

The home is fully furnished including all linens and towels. There is a beautiful stone fireplace in Living Room and Brick fireplace in the country kitchen, a screened porch, laundry room, formal dining room, computer/work room and a breakfast nook are downstairs. Satellite
television and wireless broadband are available on the property,
good cell reception, BBQ, four acres of beautiful grounds including
running brooks and lily pond, a wooded trail and Japanese-style
gardens. Master bedroom has private bath and the other three
share a second bath, powder room downstairs. Rental of the house
includes use of grounds, full tour of the Gingerbread House, the
historic studio of Sir Henry Hudson Kitson, sculptor of
the "Lexington Minuteman".The Gingerbread House may be rented for an
additional fee for a special event during your stay on the estate.
