Vacation Rental Description

Casa de Las Prismas is situated in the quaint Mexican village of La 
Cruz de Huanacaxtle. 
Within easy walking distance of a serene beach, we've built our 
dream home, along with two apartments (completed August 2006) and a 
casita which is 3 years old.  Each apartment is on the 2nd floor (no 
elevator) and have 
separate entrances and are fully equipped.  We've decorated with 
bright, vibrant colors using interesting local artwork.  The front 
apartment, 'Feliz' has a private terrace with lounges, umbrella, 
table and chairs.  The rear apartment, 'Alegre' has a separate 
terrace with lounges, table and 
chairs.  
The casita, 'Pancho's Villa' is much the same as the apartments, 
however, it is on the 
ground floor and has it's own patio with a table, chairs and 
umbrella.  (separate from the main building, but very near the pool 
and garden)
The garden of Casa de Las Prismas is strewn with exotic palms and 
lovely plants.  Feel like 
spending some quiet time with a good book?  We have a secluded spot 
waiting just for you and it has it's own umbrella along with a small 
table and chairs.  How about lazing away the afternoon in a two 
person hammock?  That, too, is in shady corner of the garden.  We 
have access to a wonderful young lady that comes right to our house 
to do manicures and/or pedicures.  What a treat!  (and her low 
prices will knock your socks off!!)
At Casa de Las Prismas, we have a heated pool........hard to find 
here, but oh, so necessary 
during the winter months when the pool water is soooo cold that it 
makes your teeth ache!!!  The pool has a lovely little waterfall and 
there's also a heated Jacuzzi, unique pool shower and a pool 
bathroom.  Casa de Las Prismas has a screened outdoor kitchen which 
boasts a BBQ, 
stove, fridge, television, and has seating room for 6.  A
great place to have a potluck dinner or just to enjoy an outdoor meal.
We also have a slow cooker and hand mixer in the outdoor
kitchen which are to be used by all guests.
  
We offer weekly maid service and fresh towels twice per week, and 
also have pool towels, however, we ask that you provide your own 
beach towels. Although there is a water softening and purificaton   
system throughout Casa de Las Prismas, we provide bottled water as 
needed.  We're within close walking distance of no less than seven
excellent restaurants, 
including Frascati Ristorante which serves wonderful 
Italian food at moderate prices! 
There are also two restaurants which have British menus, (one of 
which offers live music), at least two with International cuisine, 
two Sushi bars and countless local Mexican cafes. You'll want to visit
the newly opened Yacht Club for a romantic evening or even just for a
terrific breakfast or lunch. Also, on 
weekends, you might enjoy renowned 'street tacos' just a few blocks 
away.  In the evenings there is live music at Philo's which is also 
only 3 blocks away.  Many nights you'll meet people from all over 
the world!  The bus system in our adopted country is excellent.  The 
nearest bus stop is yet another short walk from Casa de Las Prismas 
and you 
can be in Puerta Vallarta wining, dining, or partying the night away 
in approx. 40 minutes.  There's taxi service both to and from the 
city at a reasonable rate. A must is a visit to Bucerias which is a 
5 minute bus ride away.  And then, when you want to go to one of the 
most beautiful beaches in Mexico, the bus will take you there in 
under 15 minutes!  
We have wireless service to accommodate those of you who wish to
bring along your own electronics as well as a laptop for the use of
all guests.  
Although there isn't telephone service in the units, we do provide
free long distance calls to USA and Canada.

When you stay with us here at Casa de Las Prismas, we provide 
airport pickup at no charge.

Sorry, but we only welcome adults......no pets and no smoking 
indoors.

Front apartment 'Feliz' which translates to 'happy':  one bedroom 
with king size bed, Egyptian Cotton sheets, remote control fan and 
air conditioning, Satellite TV in english, DVD player and CD player. 
One large bath with shower, fan and hair dryer.  
Completely outfitted kitchen including full size fridge, 4 burner
stove with oven, microwave, all dishes, glassware, silverware, pots
and pans, 
blender, toaster, electric can opener, iron and board etc.    Small
living room with seating for 3,
stained glass windows, etc.  Ceiling fans in every room.  Maximum 2
adults, no children and no pets.  
Smoking outdoors only.

Rear apartment "Alegre' which also translates to 'happy':  one 
bedroom with king size bed, Egyptian Cotton sheets, remote control 
fan and air conditioning.  Small bathroom with shower, fan and hair 
dryer.  Full kitchen including full size fridge, 4 burner stove with 
oven, microwave, all dishes, glassware, silverware, pots and pans, 
blender, toaster, electric can opener, iron and board, etc.  Larger
living room with Satellite TV in 
english, DVD player, CD player, etc.
Ceiling fans in every room.
Maximum two adults, no children and no pets.  Smoking outdoors only.

Casita 'Pancho's Villa:  One large bedroom with twin beds, remote 
control fans and air conditioning.  Small bathroom with shower and 
fan.  Galley style kitchen with full size fridge, 4 burner stove, 
microwave, all dishes, glassware, silverware, pots and pans, 
blender, toaster, electric can opener, iron and board, etc.  Large
living room with Satellite TV in 
English, DVD player, CD player, etc.  Ceiling fans in every room.  
Maximum two adults, no children and no pets.  Smoking outdoors 
only.  
With all three units, we provide bottled drinking water, toilet
tissue, kleenex and paper towels, dish, bath and hand soap.  However,
these items are not inluded for yearly rentals.

NEARBY:  horseback riding, whale watching, surfing and equipment 
rentals, swimming with dolphins, canopy tours, jungle tours, 
waterslides, snorkeling, parasailing, car and cellphone rentals, golf,
day spa, Billy's gym, Curves, internet cafes, Catholic and Seventh Day
Adventist churches, ATM machines.

We do our best to provide as much information as possible about the 
surrounding areas and are more than willing to make inquiries if you 
require info about a particular facility.

Apartments:  
Oct 15th to Dec 12th     2 persons max      $600.00 USD per week
Dec 13th to Jan 7th      2 persons max      $750.00 USD per week
Jan 8th to April 30th    2 persons max      $600.00 USD per week

Casita:
Oct 15th to Dec 12th     2 persons max      $500.00 USD per week
Dec 13th to Jan 7th      2 persons max      $650.00 USD per week
Jan 8th to April 30th    2 persons max      $500.00 USD per week

Long Term stays - (pancho's villa) 1 - 3 months $1300.00 per month
                                   3 - 6 months $1000.00 per month   
                                ***one year     $800.00 per month    
          


Long Term stays - (alegre/feliz)    1 - 3 months $1600.00 per month
                                    3 - 6 months $1200.00 per month
                                 ***one year     $900.00 per month

***year long rentals do not include amenites such as paper towels,
toilet tissue, soap, and the hydro is paid by each renter.
Our prices include all taxes.
Prices are guaranteed until time of deposit but are subject to 
change at any time after that.  Payment to be made by Paypal or 
direct deposit into my American or Canadian bank account.
50% deposit at time of booking and balance to be paid 45 days prior to 
arrival.
