only two cottages on this privately owned tidal island.
The combination of a park like setting surrounded by water means
relaxation is the rhythm of this vacation. Accessible by a sand &
rocky path by low tide, and at high tide row across the lagoon to
your private retreat.
Our top priority is maintaining the beauty of the property. Smoking is not allowed
either inside the cottage or on the island.
Available for weekly rental, the Boat House will provide the perfect
home base for your vacation. An outdoor enthusiast’s paradise, bring
your gear to fish, sail or kayak right from your back door. With
spectacular water views from every window, you may just want to sit
back and relax with a good book or a pair of binoculars enjoying the
birds and passing boats.

Adults only, a maximum of 4,are invited to enjoy this private relaxed
island with its spectacular views.
It has all the amenities you need to enjoy your Mid Coast Maine
vacation in beautiful Casco Bay:
.First Floor: 360 degree water views of a serene lagoon and then
out to Casco Bay and the ocean beyond.
.Comfortable Living Room complete with books and board games beside
a cozy dining area.
.Fully equpped kitchen: including blender, coffee maker,toaster
oven, microwave, cooking utensils, cookbooks, lobster pot,BBQ
utensils, bottled water, refrigerator, stove/oven, spices.
.Full bathroom with large shower stall on first floor.
.Two decks: one facing the lagoon, one looking out on Casco Bay and
the ocean beyond. Weber grill for bbq and table & chairs for
outside dining while enjoying the spectacular view of sailboats,
lobster boats, and the tide going in and out.
.Upstairs: Two bedrooms.
The master bedroom with king size bed has a spectacular view of
Casco Bay. The second bedroom with one double bed and a set of bunks
overlooks the serene idyllic lagoon.
• Deep water mooring available by prior arrangement, walkie talkies,
alarm clock, ceiling fan, hair dryer, paper towels, basic soaps and
paper products, flashlights, are all provided.
Sheets and towels are not provided, pillows and blankets are.
No pets. No smoking.

Come experience Long Point Island - a five acre tidal island
retreat.
With a park like setting, roses bloom amongst bayberry and
sea lavender.
Observe the great blue heron, marsh hawk, osprey,
plovers, pipers, and of course gulls! Fish for stripers, mackeral
and flounder.
Walk the shores, rock hop or settle on a bench to watch
the water activities.
Enjoy some badminton, croquet or horseshoes
on the lawn. Bring your kayak or canoe and explore the lagoon or for
the more experienced parts of Casco Bay.
Relax, watch the tide and enjoy the sunsets and sunrises. If you
venture off island you may want to travel to nearby Freeport to
shop, Bowdoin College in Brunswick or the shipyard town of Bath.
vacation rental rates
Weekly rentals only from May through October at $1,450.00 per week.
Deep water mooring for up to 30' Sail or motorboat available by prior
arrangement & additional fee.
$500.00 Refundable security deposit upon final inspection. This property is immaculate.
Smoking is absolutely not allowed either inside the cottage, or on the island.
Cleaning fee will be deducted if property is not left in the same condition in which it is found.
