The property is adjacent and directly connected to 60,000 acres of Forbes State Forest and 
Laurel Hill State park. From Stonewood Lodge you can access the Laurel Highlands hiking 
trail and enjoy an uninterrupted walk from Johnstown to Ohiopyle, 70 miles. Stonewood Lodge
is directly connected to the 90 mile, Laurel Highlands SnowmobileTrail and is the best location 
for overnight snowmobilers in the entire region. We are at the center of Laurel Highland 
activities.
The Lodge features 6 bedrooms, 3 full baths, 3 half baths,  Great room with fully equipped 
kitchen, Game room with kitchenette, Sitting room, multiple decks, Laundry room, Garage 
and Robert Griffing art. 
Stonewood Lodge is great for families and adult friends that are ski & snowboard enthusiasts, 
motorcyclists, mountain bikers, snowmobilers, golfers, fisherman, or those looking to enjoy a
romantic get-a-way.

 

Vacation Rental Amenities

Kitchen - Custom cabinets made entirely from Sugar Maple trees harvested from the 
property. Granite countertops. Fully equipped Kitchen open to Great Room has brand new 
Kitchenaid appliances (dishwasher, microwave, range, doublewide refrigerator), garbage 
disposal, blanco double sink, coffeemaker, toaster, reverse osmosis water filtration system, 
and breakfast nook. An island adds space for additional seating and storage.  

Great Room - Open Great Room with cherry hardwood walls and cathedral ceiling with cork 
flooring. A 50 inch wall mounted Plasma TV, electric fireplace with air purifier, large dining
room table to seat 8 comfortably, conversational area with 4 reclining chairs, stone wall and
2 ceiling fans. Deck off of Great Room for quiet retreats. Large Andersen windows with 
woodland view.

Game Room - Large Game Room with white sugar maple walls and ceilings, cork flooring, 
cherry wood kitchenette, microwave, refrigerator/icemaker, filtered water, electric fireplace 
with air purifier, 50" Plasma TV wallmounted,  DVD/VCR, leather sectional coach, coffee and 
end tables, gathering table and solid oak bar/barware. Board games.

Library - Built in oak bookshelf, books, games and computer shelf. Two leather recliners.

Lofts - Two lofts overlooking Great Room. One loft has king size bed with 1/2 bath. One loft 
has queen size bed with 1/2 bath. White sugar maple flooring and cherry walls.

Sitting Room - Cherry walls, cork flooring, large windows, leather sofa and chair with coffee
and end table. Entrance to deck for grilling and enjoying the scenery and wildlife.

Laundry Room -   The Laundry Room + full bath features Bosch frontload washer and dryer, 
blanco sink, walk-in shower, custom white sugar maple cabinetry with solid granite countertop, a 
built-in
ironing board and cork flooring.

Bedrooms - Sleeps 10-12 comfortably 4 bedrooms + 2 loft bedrooms; Large walk-in hall closet
for extra bedroom storage.  The bedrooms offer the highest quality firm, supportive 
mattresses with premium 700 fill power Hotel Collection and Ralph Lauren goose down 
comforters and pillows. The provided linens are soft and luxurious with 400-1000 thread 
count sateen cotton. Levelor room darkening blinds in all bedrooms. Extra linens and
blankets provided. 

Bedroom 1:  Master bedroom 220 sq ft: king size bed, 1/2 bath/granite counter top, closet,
oak ceiling and walls. 
Bedroom 2:  100 sq ft. - Full size bed - oak cathedral ceiling and walls. 
Bedroom 3:  100 sq ft. - Full size bed - oak cathedral ceiling and walls. 
Bedroom 4:  120 sq ft. - Twin size beds (2) - large closet, oak cathedral ceiling and walls.

products extends even to the bathrooms of Stonewood Lodge! Interior walls of stone and 
wood. All countertops are 100% solid natural granite stone! Custom bathroom cabinetry of 
100% solid wild black cherry, white sugar maple and wormy oak continues the close 
connection to nature and enhances visual pleasure. Bathrooms feature Kohler fixtures: 
tub/showers, sinks and faucets. Cotton towels/washclothes provided. At Stonewood Lodge,
