Vacation Rental Description

Our Cottages and efficiencies are situated on the west side of 
Chautauqua Lake next to the historic Bemus Point Stow Ferry , which 
has operated continually since 1811. The ferry still operates but with 
limited hours. We have a sandy beach area for the children to play on 
, the water has a very slow drop off , a large safe lighted dock for 
fishing and to dock your boat. Boat length is limited to 21'. The 
cottages are arranged in a U shape with the front of the U being the 
lake, a view of the lake and the dock can be seen from most cottages 
and efficiencies.

Vacation Rental Amenities

We have several different floor plans , we have a 2 bedroom with 
double beds and a sleeper sofa in the living room , we have 2 cottages 
that have a combination of double beds and twin beds , the most 
separate beds in any cottage is 5, four twins and one double. The 
efficiencies have a double bed in the bedroom and a double sleeper in 
the front room. All cottages have a stand up shower. Pots and Pans , 
linens (except for towels) and toilet paper are provided. Each cottage 
has a coffee maker and the larger cottages have a microwave. Each 
cottage and efficiency have a picnic table in front of the door. A 
fire pit is located near the beach to sit in the evenings to tell fish 
stories or just make friends with other vacationers , children love to 
roast marshmelows over the fire. Rental fishing boats available on site.

Activities and Attractions

We are located directly across from Bemus Point , take your boat 
across the lake and dock at the town dock or go to the Bemus Point 
Town Casino (no not a gambling casino) a place for families to dine , 
have a drink or have the famous chicken wings. Several other good 
restruants are in Bemus Point as are other shops . On weekends ride 
the Bemus Point Ferry and walk to dinner or visit the shops without 
having to find a parking space. Visit the Chautauqua Institution 
during the season located just 5 miles away. Cable TV and internet 
access will be available , to be added this year (2008) Golfing , very 
good fishing, hiking are just some of the activities available , and 
yes the Allegany Casino is just 35 minutes away. Visit the Amish shops 
as they are not far away.
