Dad's place is steps to the Bay in one direction.  In the other direction, just across the street - are the white sands of the beautiful Gulf of Mexico. A free trolley comes by your corner every 20 minutes to take you anywhere on the island. A trolley also runs from Anna Maria to St. Armands Circle and to Sarasota for only $.35 (senior rate).   No stress, no gas prices!  An island paradise close to shopping and excellent restaurants Dad's place receives glowing reviews from those who have stayed there.

There is a club house, library, laundry room, shuffle board, and nice people in the park.  You would be close to golf courses, kayaking, tennis, and other water sports.  There are theaters and film festivals in Sarasota and St. Armands circle. The Salvador Dali Museum is St. Petersburg, Busch Gardens in Tampa, the Hard Rock Casino in Tampa, and of course Disneyworld and all those other goodies in Orlando.
