There is cable TV, hi-speed wireless internet, a boom box, and a DVD player for your enjoyment. There is a front porch, a hibachi grill, two bicycles, beach chairs and a beach umbrella for your use.
Dad's place is steps to the Bay in one direction, where there a lovely pier and boat dock, pavers, and comfy chairs to watch the sunrise. In the other direction, just across the street - are the white sands of the beautiful Gulf of Mexico. A free trolley comes by your corner every 20 minutes to take you anywhere on the island. A trolley also runs from Anna Maria to St. Armands Circle and to Sarasota for only $.35 (senior rate). No stress, no gas prices! An island paradise close to shopping and excellent restaurants Dad's place receives glowing reviews from those who have stayed there.

There is a club house, library, laundry room, shuffle board, lots of activities, and nice people in the park. You would be close to golf courses, kayaking, tennis, and other water sports. There are theaters and film festivals in Sarasota and St. Armands circle. The Salvador Dali Museum is St. Petersburg, Busch Gardens in Tampa, the Hard Rock Casino in Tampa, and of course Disneyworld and all those other goodies in Orlando.
