Vacation Rental Description

Imagine relaxing in your own private country farm house on a hill with fantastic sunsets with acres of forrest 
around you.  Well, Bluff Mt. Retreat is the place to stay.  This is an all season rental located in Island Pond, 
Vermont which is in the heart of the Northeast Kingdom.  Island Pond is known for it's pristine lake, clean air, 
clean water and lots of snow in the winter. There are many things to do in and around the town. It is out of the 
way but within walking distance to the town.  All guests who visit love the seclusion, yet accessability of this 
property.  We like to call it your home away from home.  Bluff Mt. is a member of the North Country Chamber of 
Commerce and the North East Kingdom Travelers and Tourist Association.  Local guides available.  Groups 
welcomed.  We plow lots of spaces for snow mobilers.  We are a family run business.  Please consider Bluff Mt. 
your place to stay while enjoying Vermont at it's finest.    

Vacation Rental Amenities

4 bedrooms, each with a queen or full sized bed, two bedrooms have a single bed in them also.  There is a 
sleeper couch downstairs.  Sheets, pillows, blankets, down comforters, towels, washcloths, dishes, glasses, 
silverware, cooking pots and pans, TV, VCR, DVD, books, games, drawing paper, magazines, BBQ grill, outdoor 
firepit, kayaks, sleds (not snowmobiles), and other comforts of home are available.  There is a mud room with a 
washer and dryer and ample space for your helmets and gear.  There is also a tent available if you or the kids 
would like to sleep outside.  
Pets are accepted, but please ask when making reservations.

Burke Mt. Ski area is only 20 minutes away
Jay Peak is about an hour away.

camping, trainwatching, golfing, moose watching, wildlife watching, rock climbing, snow shoeing, cross country 
skiing, reading, antiqueing, painting, writing, photography, motorcycling, relaxing,  skiing, boarding, hunting, 
golfing, are just a few of the things available here.
The international Haskel Theater is minutes away, attend a show in the only theater in the world that is in two 
countries.
Canada is only 14 miles away
