Vacation Rental Description

This 1,300 sq. ft.(127 sq. m.)condo is located on the third floor of a lovely three story building. 
In addition to the 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, it has a full kitchen, full dining room and living 
room and a large balcony with a lovely ocean view. There is an on-site office to help you with 
information. Weekly maid service is included and laundry service is available on site.

We are located within a 2 minute walk of the Core of Sosua on a quiet, upscale residential street 
within a block or 2 of banks, grocery stores and many restaurants. We are a short 5 minute walk from 
the famous Sosua public beach. 

No other vacation rental property is better located than we are !!

This condo has been recently renovated with comfortable upscale furniture, top of the line 
appliances and air conditioned bedrooms and main living areas. We also provide a personal safe, 
cable TV and high speed internet access in the condo for your convenience, safety and enjoyment.

Sosua is a short 10 minute drive from Puerto Plata International Airport.  

A short 4 hours from New York City, Montreal or Toronto and 2 hours from Miami and you too can be 
swimming and snorkeling with us in beautiful Sosua Bay.

Vacation Rental Amenities

This condo unit is located in a "gated" property with secured access and 24 hour "manned security". 
The property has a large private pool in a garden setting, on site office and laundry service and 24 
hour electricity via a full generator backup.
This large 127 square meter condo is a fully equipped 2 bedroom / 2 bathroom home with secured key 
pad front door lock, personal safe, Cable TV, high speed internet and air conditioning throughout.

Activities and Attractions

We are located on the beautiful north coast of the Dominican Republic, close to the Puerto Plata 
International airport. The Dominican Republic is noted for it's friendly people, fabulous climate 
and beautiful beaches. Various activities such as SCUBA diving, snorkeling and numerous, varied 
adventure tours are available throughout Sosua including whale watching during the winter season. 
Great nightlife and restaurants to fit any taste and budget. Short distance from several Casinos, 
golfing, horseback riding ranch and countless secluded beaches. 

There is something here to satisfy every age, every interest and every taste !!! 

Here are but a few examples.

Less than 5 minute walk to Playa Sosua, a postcard perfect beach located on a crescent-shaped bay 
with warm waters that are calm, clear, and a deep shade of turquoise. Fine white sand and a 
multitude of palm trees to laze under when you have had enough sun.

Situated at the rear of the beach are a large assortment of small cafes/bars, souvenir vendors and 
also several public bathrooms. There are several beach vendors who will rent you a beach lounger, 
umbrella and small table and will also run to the cafes/bars to get food and refreshments for you.

You can easily snorkel from the beach to the reefs, where you can see flounder, parrot fish, 
grouper, porcupine and dozens of other varieties of colorful fish, fans, corals and urchins.

Several dive shops offer varied excursions. Divers of all levels can enjoy shallow reefs, 
shipwrecks, cave diving, and deep water diving. Water temperatures range from the high 70s to low 
80s, and visibility ranges from 70 to 100 feet. 

World class windsurfing, kiteboarding, etc., are only a few miles away in Cabarete, easily reached 
by taxi or public transportation. If you want to go surfing, Playa Encuentro has a reputation among 
local surfers as the best spot.

For the golfers, 2 Robert Trent Jones Sr. 18 hole courses are available: challenging Playa Dorada, 
and breathtaking Playa Grande. The Dominican Republic is one of the premier golf destinations in the 
Caribbean.

For the gamblers, several casinos are nearby, open from 4pm to 4 am. A large casino is under 
construction approximately one block away. It is expected to be open by June 2008.

Columbus Aquapark is 5 minutes from Sosua, the biggest water park in the Caribbean. Many pools and 
slides to be enjoyed by the entire family, as well as KAMIKAZEE where you'll reach speeds up to 55 
mph.

15 minutes to Fun City Action Park, world class Go Kart and Bumper Car racing track providing 
thrilling Go Karts, Sprint and Midget Cars, Grand Prix Cars and Bumper Cars on two challenging, high 
speed tracks.

Among nearby Puerto Plata's many attractions are a tour of the Brugal rum factory and Mount Isabel 
de Torres. The 7-minute cable car ride up its nearly vertical slope takes you to beautiful botanical 
gardens, a large statue of Christ similar to that in Rio de Janeiro, and breathtaking views of the 
city and surrounding area. Watch the clouds form around you when the wind is blowing off the ocean 
and up the steep mountain slope!!

Ocean World Adventure Park is in Puerto Plata, about 17 miles from Sosua. Play and swim with 
dolphins and Patagonian sea lions, feed stingrays or hold a seven-foot nurse shark in your lap, and 
have topical birds take seeds from the palm of your hand. This is the largest marine park in the 
Caribbean.

Many unique excursions are also available from Sosua's tour operators, including: horseback 
riding through the jungle, swim in rivers and visit typical rural villages; night shark fishing; 
river rafting on the Yaque del Norte River; and a jeep safari that includes a 28 level waterfall 
where you can climb up the last 7 cascades and leap from a 50 foot cliff into a pool below. ATV and 
bike excursions are also available.

Finally, a large casino and convention center is nearing completion only one block from the 
Condominium. It is expected to be in full operation by June 2008.
