Vacation Rental Description

Fully furnished 4BR executive vacation rental on beautiful 
Scarborough Beach, 20 minutes from Portland Jetport and 2 hrs from 
Boston.  The home is an an exclusive area of Southern Maine, Prouts 
Neck/Black Point, and is on a private road.  Scarborough Beach is a 
private beach fronting Prouts Neck and is unique among southern 
Maine's sandy beaches.  The beach is over a mile long and is free of 
development. The beach and area are outstanding for swimming, 
walking, surfing, and boating. There are spectacular views of 
Stratton Island, Shooting Rocks, and Black Point.  The home itself 
is large with 4 bedrooms, a living room, 2 family rooms, a dining 
room, and a screened porch with an outside sun deck. 

Vacation Rental Amenities

All amenities -- including W/D, Dishwasher, Cable TV, highspeed
internet connection, stereo, VCR/DVD player, linen, fully equiped
kitchen, coffee maker, BBQ.  Linens provided. 

Activities and Attractions

There is ample opportunity for kayaking, sailing, and boating from 
the beach or in the area.  There are wildlife sanctuaries and walking
paths in the immediate area.  Four excellent golf courses are within
15 minutes of the house.

The Old Port Area of Portland nearby is known for its crafts, art and
antique shops and has excellent restaurants. For Winslow Homer
afficionados, Homer's studio is a 10 minute bike ride away at Black
Point. The Portland Museum of Art has an excellent Homer exhibit as
well as other well known Maine artists. The well-known "Two Lights"
State Park at Cape Elizabeth and a national bird sanctuary are
biking distance.

Vacation Rental Rates

Rentals in the summer months are monthly or weekly with a minimum
rental of two weeks.

- $2,400 per week mid May - mid June
- $3,350 per week, mid June - September
- $7,900 per month, June
- $12,500 per month, July, August and September

Rental is also available for the season September 15 - May 15.  The
monthly rental during this season, assuming rental for the entire
season, is $2400 per month plus utilities.
