Bear Creek Cabin in Flagstaff

We absolutely LOVED this cabin. It does allow pets but has wood floors except the bedrooms so is a great property for families with allergies or families with pets. After reading the first review we were iffy about renting the cabin. At checkin everything was in great order and working wonderfully. There were even toys for the kids in our group. The deck overlooks a beautiful little canyon that we enjoyed hiking down into. We enjoyed family bbqs outside on the deck and reading and playing games outside on our downtime. This cabin even has 3 fun game tables that the kids loved. This cabin does have cable tv in the living room but it was never used because there is just so much to do at this cabin. We would recommend this cabin to everybody we know and would love to come back again.

Recommended for: adventure seekers, age 55+, families with young children, families with teenagers, girls getaway, pet-friendly, sight seeing, romantic getaway

Needs major maintenance

This cabin has potential, but I couldn't tell if they were in the process of fixing it up or thought they had. It had terrible lighting in the bathrooms, and great room, no clothes hangers in the closets (had to buy clothes hangers) no dressers, one bedroom door could swing like a saloon door since it had no stop to it, furnace made a terrible noise, shower heads sprayed water all over, the towels were in shreds, the kitchen faucet was in disrepair, toilets not bolted to floor, etc. Had to request light bulbs, toilet paper, dishwasher soap, paper towels and use my own bath soap. The cleaning people need to do their job. Would not recommend this to anyone.
