a spacious 1.9 acre lot, surrounded by mature rhododendrons and
hardwoods. Plenty of privacy. A beachhead on the New River is within
walking distance (two-tenths of a mile)-great for rafting, tubing,
swimming, fishing, etc. The town of W. Jefferson, including the world
famous frescos, and a charming downtown with numerous shops,
restaurants, and artisans, is 3 miles away. The Blue Ridge Parkway is
5 miles from the home site and Boone is 25 minutes. For the winter
ski and snowboard enthusiasts, the slopes are 35-40 minutes away, all
accessed via main thoroughfares.
