Vacation Rental Description

Hale Pomaika'i is a clean & comfortable 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom house
which backs up to a forest reserve of native ohia trees and wonderful
bird song. On a clear day there is a fantastic view of Mauna Kea,
Hawaii's largest volcano.

This is a cozy, relaxing and comfortable house. The kitchen is fully
equipped with everything you'll need to enjoy a meal at home, or you
can have a barbecue outside on the lanai. Both of the bedrooms
have a queen-size bed, a Hawaiian print comforter, and a full-sized
closet. Both bathrooms are equipped with rainhead showers. The living
room has a 20" flat screen TV, DVD player, stereo/CD player,
books and games for your enjoyment.

The property has a number of tropical fruit trees including lychee,
strawberry guava, avocado, pink lemon, and pineapple that we are
delighted to share with you in season. There are several varieties of
palms,
native ferns, and lovely tropical flowers scattered throughout the
grassy fenced-in property.

Vacation Rental Amenities

This clean, fully-furnished home includes high-speed wireless
internet, cable tv, dvd player, stereo cd player, ceiling fans, books
& games, guide books & field guides. 
Fully-equipped kitchen with kitchen range & oven, microwave, full-size
refrigerator, disposal, coffee maker, coffee grinder, blender,
toaster, wok, rice cooker, crockpot, plenty of dishes, cooking
utensils & dining utensils provided. Starter supply of paper products
provided.
Towels & linens provided. Hairdryer. Washer & dryer, and an outdoor
clothesline under cover. 
Covered lanai with outdoor table and chairs, charcoal grill (BBQ),
beach equipment & beach towels, covered parking. 
 
This is a No Smoking house!

Activities and Attractions

So much to see & do! The new lava flow is only 20 minutes away! 
Volcanoes National Park is just a 40 minute
drive; don't miss it! Fun and funky Pahoa Town is only a 5 minute
drive, with grocery and health food stores, many restaurants, shops,
post office, community pool, and more. 
Hiking, swimming, fishing, surfing, snorkeling, whale watching in
season, sea turtles & dolphins, black sand beaches, natural warm
ponds, tide pools, volcanic steam vents, several Farmer's Markets. All
this within 15-20 minutes!
There's the Macadamia Nut Factory, the Panaewa Rainforest Zoo,
cinemas, shopping , restaurants, museums and more in Hilo, too.
