Cedar log cabin in Little Switzerland

This is a new log cabin built of the same eastern red cedar that
was used in grandma's closet and cedar chest and
smells great. It is a beautiful mix of red and cream color with
very interesting knots and imperfections in the logs. Exposed beams
and tongue and groove ceiling boards are used throughout. It
features a full length front porch with the required amish made
rocking chairs and porch swing just like all log cabins should
have. Across the back is a large full length open deck high up in
the trees with the birds, who will be happy to sing for you. It is
equiped with outdoor furniture and a gas grill.
Inside, the main floor has 1 bedroom with queen bed, bathroom,
kitchen and living room with fold out couch. Upstairs there is a
large loft bedroom with a queen bed. Living and dining area has a
cathredal ceiling that extends over 20 feet up. All linens, cooking
utensils, and small appliances are furnished as well as washer and
dryer. It is situated on a private drive about 200 yards off the
blue ridge parkway. Shopping, dining, super walmart and hospital
are all within 10 minutes away. This home was built to be a vacation rental and designed for your
comfort and enjoyment.

Porch, open deck, outdoor furniture and gas grill, Hot tub located
amoung the rhododrendons and mountain laurels. Washer, dryer,
dishwasher, iron and ironing board, All linens, towels, etc, etc.
Cable and wireless internet provided. Large library of both books, movies and games for relaxing
rainy days. Our cabins are new and designed for comfort and convenient to enhance your vacation.
They are not older homes that have had a facelift and been converted to vacation use. We are the
owner/builders/managers/cleaning staff/etc,etc. We live just up the road and are available for any
emergencies, questions, directions, etc. We are retired and have drawn on our own vacationing
experience to build and outfit our cabins to provide you with an enjoyable, affordable mountain
vacation.

Within 15 minutes there are many opportunities for shopping, dining,
golfing, hiking and gem mining.
Within an hours drive are several state parks,golf courses,ski
areas. Also Asheville, Grove park inn and Biltmore are an hour
away. The opportunities to savor the mountain music and shop for
real mountain crafts are plentiful. We are just off the blue ridge
parkway with some of the most beautiful scenery anywhere.

Minimum reservation of 2 days normally. We may take 1 day if it
fits between other reservations. Fri, Sat, Sun nites are $150 all
others are $125 per nite. Weekly rate is $650. Discounts for
longer stays. Early reservations are recommended as the most
desirable times reserve quicker. If you intend to bring pets,
please make arrangements in advance.  Prices are based on occupancy of up to 4 adults.  Additional people may  be charged extra.
