This large corner unit is conveniently located on the ground floor. Furnished with a colorful mix of antiques and Mexican handicrafts, Mi Casa del Mar-A5 includes everything you could want for a fun and refreshing vacation.

Large picture windows span the front wall of the living and dining
room with uninterrupted views of the Caribbean. Count the shades of
blue and green as you gaze at the ocean. The living room is
decorated with vivid tropical colors, comfortable chairs, and lots
of sofa room.   Equipped with TV, DVD player (bring your own DVDs), CD player, books,  you'll have all the comforts of home.   We also have free wireless internet,  so bring your laptop.

 The spacious covered oceanfront terrace is well furnished for "al
fresco" dining, relaxing in the chaise lounges, or swaying in the
hammocks. Only steps away is a fabulous infinity edge pool
overlooking the ocean. All you need is a swimsuit and a smile! A
short coral-lined pathway leads to a rocky beach where you can
snorkel among schools of tropical fish.

A5 has two large bedrooms and sleeps up to 6 people, 4 in the
bedrooms and 2 (children) on the large sofas. There is
airconditioning in the bedrooms only.
In the serenely decorated master bedroom, you will find a
comfortable king-sized bed, plenty of closet and storage space, safe,
individually controlled airconditioner, and a bathroom with a walk-in
shower. Hairdryers, extra pillows, blankets, beach towels, iron and
ironing board are provided.
The second bedroom is cheerfully decorated with Mexican handicrafts
and offers a  queen-sized bed and lots of closet space and
storage. A conveniently located second full bathroom is adjacent to
this bedroom.
The fully equipped kitchen makes cooking light meals a breeze.
Equipped with a  refrigerator/freezer, cooktop, microwave,
toaster oven, blender, juicer, coffeepot, tableware for 10, and
purified drinking water.   We can also arrange staff to cook delicious
local specialties at a rate of $8/person plus ingredients.  They have
a special connection with the fishermen for the freshest fish &
lobster you've ever tasted. The dining table seats 4 with seating for 2 more at the counter and seating for 4 on the terrace.

Mi Casa del Mar is a small condo building (14 units) ideally located
midway between the calm waters of Akumal Bay and Half Moon Bay.
These beaches offer brilliant white sand beaches with snorkelling and
beachcombing and are only an easy 5 minute walk from our front door.
In Akumal Bay village, you'll find dive and water sports shops, a
tour information center, boutiques, spa, supermarkets, and even a
bakery.   Be sure to visit CEA, the ecological center, for information about the sea turtles for which Akumal is named. 

Open air beach bars and restaurants are also found along Akumal &
Half Moon beaches. Dine with your feet in the sand and enjoy
the "barefoot ambience".
Car, golfcart, and bicycle rentals are available in Akumal Bay.
Whatever method of transportation you choose, many sights and
activities are within 30 minutes drive.

"It is truly heavenly here at your place. We think you have the best condo in the unit and up and down the 2 beaches-not that we have seen inside any of the others but the location is perfect, it is beautifully decorated and equipped, and comfortable. Flor is sweet and a hard worker and E or R are around if we need them. We have also enjoyed meeting Tomi. She procured some prawns for us and I think that she is going to join us for dinner tomorrow night. we have managed to get internet from the fellow in the twin unit to yours andahve heard that Vancouver has more snow and sleet so really enjoying our warm bodies here !"
