Star Point on Snow Pond in Belgrade Lakes

Spend a week or more at Star Point, and experience summer in Maine, the way life should be! Our comfortable cottage is situated at the wide end of Messalonskee Lake (aka Snow Pond), in the famous Belgrade Lakes chain.
Located at the waters edge, our camp was built in 2004 and features an open floor plan with 170 degrees of lake views. Two decks and a porch offer plenty of outdoor seating in the sun or in the shade - where you will enjoy spectacular sunsets, the call of the loons, and gorgeous night skies.
Inside, the kitchen is a cook's delight and you can't beat those views. If you would rather just toss something on the grill as you toss a salad, that will work too! The main bedroom is on the first floor, with a king-sized bed, 2 dressers, and large closet. The bath is small but efficient, and is also on the first floor. Kids enjoy the loft bedroom with its cozy nook where they have a birds-
eye view of the lake and first floor. The loft has a queen-sized bed and room for sleeping bags, plus a computer with Internet access.
The property is nestled in a small cove with a sandy bottom, great for swimming, fishing, or just floating. We have a small dock for your boat and you are welcome to use our canoe.
For fishermen, Snow Pond is a dream spot. The lake was named one of Americas 150 Best in 2007
according to Field & Stream. Trout, Bass and huge Northern Pike, are all here waiting for you to cast a line.

Well-behaved dogs allowed; per town ordinance, all dogs must be leashed at all times.

The Maine Coast or the Western Mountains for exploration or shopping in Freeport or Bangor are all within an hour away. Colby College and its fine Museum of Art are less than 12 miles away in Waterville, which hosts the Maine International Film Festival every summer. Along with the Belgrade Lakes the Kennebec River offers Kayaking, Canoeing and fishing. 15 minutes to Augusta or Waterville with shopping, restaurants, cinemas and to I-95. Several public golf courses within 30 minutes drive.

Partial week rentals available May, June and late Sept.  Inquire for rate.
Full week rentals only July, August and early Sept.

10% discount per week for multi-week rentals!  (Full, consecutive weeks only.)

Check-In: Saturday after 2 PM Check-Out: Saturday at 10:00 AM Sharp!
We require a Security Deposit of $500.00 within 7 days to confirm and hold your reservation, with Full Rental payment due 30 days prior to arrival. The security deposit will be returned within seven (7) days of checking out, if the home is left as you found it.
Cancellation policy: We will retain the deposit if we are unable to re-rent your week(s).
