Vacation Rental Description

Adorable 2 bedroom + loft, 1 bath cottage located near the Village 
of 
Orland.  Very private setting as the cottage is the last house on 
the 
road (there are only two houses on the road) and sits about 
50 feet back from the Narramissic River, which makes it a great 
location for canoeing, kayaking and fishing.  Also included in the 
rental is an outdoor 4 person hot tub.

There is plenty of wild life to be seen at the cottage.  The cottage 
is also very conveniently located.  The Village of Orland, where the 
general store, church and post office are located, is just a minute 
or two away by car (you can walk to the general store in about 10 
minutes). It is about 2 ½ miles from Bucksport, where you will find 
a 
larger grocery store, restaurants, movie theater, public golf coarse 
and Fort Knox, which was built during the American Revolutionary 
War. 
The scenic villages of Blue Hill and Castine are both about 15 
minutes away by car, Ellsworth is also about a 15 minute drive away, 
and both Camden and Bar Harbor (Acadia National Park) are about 40-
45 
minutes away by car.  Ocean access can be found 15 minutes away 
along 
Blue Hill Coast or Castine.  Cottage rents Saturday to Saturday 
(***note, spiral stairs takes you from the 1st to 2nd floor***).

Bed sizes: 1 Queen, 1 Single in second bedroom, 1 queen in loft area.

Wood stove, BBQ grill (propane),linens included, telephone, 
microwave, toaster, iron, coffeemaker, coffee grinder, 
dishes/utensils provided, Satellite TV, VCR, CD player, tape player, 
radio, central heat, screened porch. 

No smoking. No pets.

Canoeing, kayaking, swimming, fishing, golf, movie theater, Fort 
Knox, wild life observation, whale watching out of Bar Harbor, 
beach, 
daily outings to Camden, Castine, Deer Isle, Stonington, Blue Hill, 
Bar Harbor, Adacia National Park. 

Vacation Rental Rates

June = $700/week
July & August = $850/week
Sept. = $700/week

October - May = Available as winter rental

Additional Fees:
7% State lodging tax
$200 refundable damage deposit
