A Hofbauer harbor home...in the midst of a nature preserve. 
 
Our Dunedin coastal cottage is on a large corner lot surrounded by  
multi-million dollar homes, old fashioned red brick roads and a  
circular driveway made of shells.  The home is on a very quiet,  
pedestrian friendly street with very little vehicular traffic.   
Throughout the park-like yard there are various sub-tropical palm  
trees and native Florida birds. (The photograph above, of the Heron  
bird, was taken from the front porch of the home). 
 
A stone's throw away is a neighborhood park with awesome views of  
the multi-colored sunsets, Clearwater Harbor, the Gulf of Mexico,  
Caladesi Island and Honeymoon Island.  Across Clearwater Harbor, as  
night falls, you can see local wildlife roosting. The stunning views  
will take you back in time 100 years to the days when Florida's  
coastline was more populated with seagulls than people. 
Yes, pelicans, sandpipers, ospreys, manatees and dolphins are part  
of everyday life here! 
 
This Dunedin home (just north of Clearwater beach) is located one  
small block from the historic Pinellas trail and Hammock Park, 3  
miles from Caladesi & Honeymoon islands, 1 mile from a public Golf  
course, Tennis courts, and two marinas, 5 miles from Clearwater  
beach and 8 miles from Tarpon Springs.  
 
Honeymoon and Caladesi Islands (just north of Clearwater beach) are  
the most exotic of the Gulf Coast beaches, containing nature  
trails,  more than 200 varieties of indigenous plants, sea-grass  
beds, sand dunes, flocks of wading and shore birds and fish.  The  
unspoiled beauty of these undeveloped barrier islands offers a  
glimpse of Florida the way it looked centuries ago. It's no wonder  
that Caladesi Island has been nationally ranked the second best  
public beach in the country (just behind a beach in Maui, Hawaii).

Vacation Rental Amenities

This attractively decorated home features 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a  
living room, family room, and a sunroom (all new furniture  
throughout the entire home). 
 
The coastal home sleeps 7 comfortably.  The master bedroom has a  
new king size bed,  a new 32 inch flat screen cable T.V., a high  
definition DVD player and a tranquil view of the swaying palm  
trees.  The second corner bedroom has two new twin beds and a  
similar view of the Florida palms.  The family room has two new  
sofas, one of them is a queen size sofa bed.  The family room also  
contains a new 50 inch flat screen cable T.V. and a large movie  
collection.  The sunroom has a new twin sofa bed (this room also  
doubles as a miniature library with a wide variety of books).  The  
living room has a new Hemingway-style sofa, loveseat and chair.  
 
Cookouts and gatherings with family and friends are encouraged!  The  
home includes a large gas barbecue grill in a covered patio with a  
table and 6 chairs. 
 
A newly remodeled kitchen with all new appliances including a new  
dishwasher, microwave, stove, refrigerator, coffeemaker and toaster.  
 
My husband, the photographer, has his Florida photographs on 
display throughout the home.

International Aiport and 30 minutes from Tampa International Airport. 

Vacation Rental Rates

Special discounted rates available for rentals of 2 months or more.  
   
Monthly rates (not including taxes & cleaning fee)... 
$3500 per month December thru March (30 day minimum rental) 
$2800 per month April thru November Or $1500 per 2 weeks (14 day minimum rental)  
 
The prices above do not include a $500 refundable security/damage  
deposit, a $100 departure cleaning fee and a 12% Florida  
sales/hospitality tax.  The security/damage deposit will be refunded  
within 14 days after departure, assuming no damages have occurred.  
Half of the rental balance to be paid at the time of booking and  
the remaining rental balance paid in full no later than 3  
weeks prior to the beginning of the rental time.  Last minute  
bookings are also sometimes possible.
