Palisade Palms - Luxury High Rise Directly on the BEACH! in Galveston

Palisades Palms is the newest and only luxury high rise condominiums right on the beach! It is an easy 45 minute drive from Houston Hobby Airport so not only can you enjoy the beach but you can visit Houston and its many attractions. The resort is a spectacle with its grand lobby to the swimming pools. No sea wall or street between you and the water; just walk right out to the beach from the property. Location cannot be beat. Close to downtown Galveston on a quiet part of East Beach. It is far away from the crowded beaches. You have the beach to yourself. No crowds, no cars; nice quiet and private yet just 2 minutes from Stewart's Family Beach.

Stay in the most popular floor plan within the Palisade Palms. This 5th floor 'Beach Club' 1300 sq. ft. 2 bedroom 2 bath unit with two huge (450 sq. ft total) covered balconies has great views from all rooms that include the pool, ocean, bay, and cruise ships. The covered ocean front balcony is 15 x 25; always shaded, and is accessible from the living room and master bedroom. Watch the cruise ships depart from the 2nd covered bay view balcony (12 x 13) off of the dining area and 2nd bedroom. There is nothing like it in Galveston. The kitchen has granite, stainless steel appliances and is fully stocked with all cookware, plates, and utensils. The unit has it's own washer and dryer. There is a 50" HDTV TV in the Living Room and 26" TV's with built-in DVD's in each bedroom. All beds (Queen in Master; two twins in 2nd bedroom) have pillow or Eurotop mattresses. There is also a queen sleeper in the living room. All linens and towels are provided including beach towels, etc. There is wireless Internet within the unit and in the lobby (1st and 2nd floor).

Palisade Palms has two pools and spas, firepit, luxurious common areas, tennis courts, basketball court, kids play area, a media room for movies, a 3500 square foot gym with machines, free weights and treadmills. There is a sauna in the gym area. No expense has been spared in this building you will be surrounded by luxury appointments from the moment you pull up. Party room with pool table, foose ball, air hockey!

Galveston Island offers everything in a resort destination – entertainment, shopping and 32 miles of Gulf Coast beaches. Galveston’s festivals, special events and attractions are enjoyable for Islanders and tourists alike.

Carnival, Royal Caribbean, Celebrity, Disney, Princess Cruise Lines have all found a home at the Port of Galveston in recent years.

Galveston Island Ferry, located on Hwy 87 (Ferry Road), continues to be one of Galveston's most popular attractions. Riders can park and ride the ferry or drive their vehicle aboard the ferry. Ferries run approximately every fifteen to twenty minutes and are free.

One of Galveston's most popular attractions is Moody Gardens. Water your imagination and travel the oceans of the world at the Aquarium Pyramid. Step into the Rainforest Pyramid with thousands of tropical plants, exotic fish and birds. Explore the mysteries of science at the Discovery Pyramid, and take a rocking and rolling ride through the universe at the Ridefilm Theater. Get in the middle of the action at the 4D Special FX Theater. See spectacular images leap from the screen of the six-story IMAX 3D Theater.

With its huge array of awesome aquatic adventures, Schlitterbahn Galveston Island offers over 32 amazing rides and attractions, including a large wave pool, uphill water coasters, thrilling speed slides, kid's water playgrounds, whitewater rapids, relaxing hot tubs, family raft rides, the Boogie Bahn surf ride and the exclusive Transportainment river system. Relax in steaming warm waters and enjoy summer fun all year long at Texas’ first and only heated, indoor waterpark. (Both the air and water are always in the 80s!) The Wasserfest Heated Indoor Season, October through mid-April, features more than a dozen heated attractions in a tropical, heated indoor oasis.

Less than an hour away are other numerous Houston attractions including the Space Center Houston.
