Vacation Rental Description

This immaculate and fully equipped mountain getaway cottage is located in Yonahlossee Resort and  
Club,  private and gated community conveniently situated between the towns of Boone and Blowing Rock  
in the heart of the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains.  Yonahlossee, tucked away on 300 pristine  
mountain acres that border Moses Cone Memorial Park, is known for its natural undisturbed setting,  
beautiful homes, and award-winning amenities that include six outdoor clay tennis courts, three  
indoor Deco-Turf courts, a 25-yard indoor pool, two state-of-the-art fitness centers, fully equipped  
Pro Shop, two full-time tennis Pros, cedar-lined sauna, and fine dining at the four-star Gamekeeper  
Restaurant. 
 
This Fiddlestix Cottage is fashioned after the old "hunting camps" found in the North Woods and  
Adirondack Mountains. Rustic wood accents, tree trunk front porch pillars, and twig furniture set  
these two bedroom, two bath homes apart from others within Yonahlossee Resort.    
 
Fiddlestix 200, located on Upper Fiddlestix Road, is bordered by Moses Cone Memorial Park and  
surrounded by native rhododendron and mountain laurel. A short downhill walk takes one to the main  
ILodge building and one of the Resort's two fitness centers and the cedar-lined sauna.  
 
The Great Room features hardwood floors, vaulted ceilings, a gas-log fireplace, and sliding glass  
doors that open onto an expansive deck. The fully equipped Kitchen, open to the Great Room, offers  
an eat-in area, dishwasher, microwave, and more. One can access the deck from the Kitchen as well as  
the Great Room.  
 
The Master Bedroom with king bed features a large closet, luggage bench, his and her dressers, and  
full ensuite bath with 6' circulating tub and double vanities. A full-size stack washer/dryer is  
conveniently located in a closet in the Master Bath.  
 
The Guest Bedroom, with queen bed, is its own private suite. Guests can enjoy their own sitting area  
with TV, private covered deck, and adjoining full bath.

Guests of Fiddlestix Cottage 200 are welcome to enjoy all of the amenities of the Yonahlossee  
RAcquet Club including a 25-yard indoor swimming pool, two fitness centers, sauna, three indoor Deco- 
Turf tennis courts, six outdoor clay tennis courts, two full-time tennis pros, and a fully equipped  
Pro Shop.  Use of the pool, fitness centers, and sauna are complimentary.  Minimal fees are charged  
for use of the tennis courts and for tennis instruction.  Gourmet diners will delight in the fare  
offered by the onsite and four-star Gamekeeper Restaurant.

Activities and Attractions

Fiddlestix Cottage 200 is located just minutes from the towns of Boone and Blowing Rock.  Boone is  
home to Appalachian State University who recently made national news by beating the University of  
Michigan in football and then becoming a three time NCAA AA Football Champ!  ASU offers year-round  
cultural as well as athletic events open to all.  The town of Boone is thriving with fun  
restaurants, antique malls, boutiques, and art galleries galore. 
 
The historic Village of Blowing Rock is charming with its wonderful boutiques, parks, fabulous  
restaurants, and numerous cultural activities including the Robert Hayes Center for the Performing  
Arts and the Blowing Rock Stage Company.   
 
The Blue Ride Parkway with its miles of hiking trails, fishing lakes, picnic areass, and scenic  
vistas is just 2.5 miles away.  Nearby local attractions include Tweetsie Railroad, Grandfather  
Mountain, the Blowing Rock, Linville Falls, Linville Caverns, Appalachian State University, public  
and private golf courses, and four ski resorts.

Vacation Rental Rates

Rates for Fiddlestix Cottage 200 are seasonal and do include a departure cleaning. This fully  
equipped cottage  is available for nightly, weekly, or monthly rentals.  Sorry, no pets are  
allowed.  Nightly rates range from $234-$404.  Rates are reduced for stays of three or more days.
