The Skimmer - Water and Beach front 2 Bedroom in Mission Beach

Our spacious 2 bedroom waterfront beach rental - The Skimmer,  is located right on the sand. Watch the glorious sun rise from your own private patio looking out on the shimmering water outside your door.  Walk five minutes west to catch the action of the Pacific Ocean for an early morning surf.  This rental is perfect for couples, or small famliies.

The Skimmer, is uniquely set in Mission Beach which is located between the quiet and beautiful Mission Bay beach side and the wonderous Pacific Ocean side.  Step out your Bayfront patio door right to the sand.  You can sip your morning coffee or tea and watch the morning sunrise peek above the horizon to light up the shimmering water. 

You also have front row seats to Sea World's summer time evening fireworks display, right from your patio table.

Put on your skates, hop on a bike or leisurely walk for miles on the boardwalk located along the water. You can rent almost any thing you need with in a 5 minute walk. World class surfing, sailing, golfing, and fishing are all easily accessible from yourunit.

Our units are owner managed while being kept welcoming and impeccably clean. La Jolla, Sea World and the World Famous San Diego
Zoo are all minutes away. Some of San Diego's finest restaurants are
located within walking distance. You can easily park your car and not
drive till you are ready to travel home.

   First and formost our greatest amenity is our location on the beach.  It is why people have chosen and have returned for many years.

   The Skimmer is well maintained and impeccably clean for your comfort and enjoyment.

• The Master Bedroom has a very comfortable King Bed with high count fresh cotton linens for the rest needed after a day at the beach
• The Second Bedroom has very comfortable twin beds as well, and the same lovely fresh cotton linens.
• We do have a sofat sleeper for a 5th person.

  We prepare the rentals with your comfort in mind and create a place where you can enjoy all the beach as to offer. • Reserved off street parking for a small to medium size plus public parking for larger vehicles and guests nearby.  (Please inquire about the parking for your vehicle before reserving)

   We provide each bed with crisp, 100% cotton linens, our bath towels a fluffy and the deliciously comfortable beds have 4 comfy pillow for that extra bit of comfort.   Beach towels and beach chairs are provided to ease your load and get you ready for your days in the sand.

   Our two bedroom is very spacious and tastefully and brightly decorated to reflect the gorgeous San Diego climate.  This rental is perfect for couples and small families.

    Your living room glass doors open out to the sand and sparkling bay.  The beach is at your feet and the sunrise is spectacular.   Sipping your morning coffee or tea and watching the stillness of the morning provide for the right start each day.   Small touches, just to make your stay a bit nicer such as first morning tea or coffee, kitchen supplies, beach towels and beach chairs are ready for you.

• Monthly Rates available October, November, December January and February, call for rates.  Monthly rates slightly higher for November and December due to holidays of Thanksgiving and Christmas/New Years.

Call for winter nightly, hoilday or winter monthly rates for November, December, January and February only.

Rental rates do not include taxes, cleaning and a refundable damage deposit

We accept personal checks or Credit Cards through PayPal with a convenience fee added
Reservation Deposit to be recieved by 5 days after booking in order to hold your dates.  

Balance due schedules:

Summer: 90 days in advance of arrival date

Winter: 90 days in advance for any bookings of 2 weeks or longer or holiday reservations

Winter: single week bookings 60 days in advance.  Bookings longer than one week are due 90 days in advance.
