wild ponies are fascinating to watch. And beyond lies the
spectacular vista of the Back Sound and Shackleford Banks!
Downtown's quaint shops, yacht-filled marina and excellent
restaurants are within easy walking/biking distance. Wander through
the lovely historic district, visit the Maritime Museum, take a
sightseeing or dolphin sighting cruise, go kayaking, wind surfing or
scuba diving, make the short drive to Atlantic Beach, OR simply sit
on the front porch swing, enjoy the sea breezes and do nothing at
all. Like many who come to visit Beaufort, you may never want to
leave!

listening to live music on the boardwalk after dark are just some of
the things to see and do in Beaufort. Atlantic Beach and Morehead
City are just across the drawbridge and offer many activities.
There is also 4 golf courses within a short drive.
