best
inshore sport fishing and scallop season runs July 1 through September 10! The town of Homosassa has
events going on all year. The Homosassa wildlife park is nearby with 1.4 miles of paved trails for
enjoying the
wildlife that is indigenous to Florida, bear,deer, alligators,Manatees, Birds, Pigs, etc.
