Vacation Rental Description

If you want to be in a rural setting within minutes to Camden, Belfast, Lincolnville Beach, national 
parks, or 
Coastal Maine this is the place.  A private residence for decades, this lovely home with country 
charm is 
available as a weekly or monthly rental. Located on a quiet back road with acres to discover.  This 
85 acre 
property was a working farm from the mid 1800's until the 1950's.  To insure the integrity of this 
historic site the 
land is now protected by two land trusts which abut Camden Hill State Park.

Vacation Rental Amenities

The home has a fully equiped kitchen with electric stove, side by side refrigerator, diswasher and 
lots of 
cupboard and countertop space.  A sunny and warm kitchen.  Most of the furnishings are Maine 
antiques with 
lots of traditional pieces.  The downstairs parlor and bedroom have decorative fireplaces as well as 
the spacious 
bathroom with full tub/shower and seperate dressing room.  The formal dinning room is a wonderful 
area to 
enjoy a fine meal.  All linens and bedding are provided, but no maid service.  There is a seperate 
laundry room.  
The two bedrooms up stairs are called the strawberry and blueberry rooms, one with a queen bed and 
futon, 
the other with two twin beds and lots of built in knee wall closet space.  See photos. The first 
floor bedroom has 
an antique cherry double bed and a comfy reading couch.  This is a non smoking environment.

Activities and Attractions

There are miles of hiking trails that begin at this property entering into Camden Hills State Park, 
one even goes 
down along the Famed Ducktrap River to the ocean.  Many internationally known artist summer in this 
neighborhood.  This is a fine place to bicyle or within three miles there are two ocean beaches, 
along with 
access to Islesboro Island VIA the state Ferry.  Hiking is a popular activity with many ocean 
vistas.  Shopping, 
restaurants, antiques, and quaint coastal villages await your inspection.

Vacation Rental Rates

Rates vary with the interested time fame.  July and August up to $1250.00 per week.  Other months 
vary but 
usually $950.00 per week. A deposit of 50% is required at the time of booking.  Should you cancel we 
will try to 
rent your time frame and if so will return the deposit.  A security fee of $400.00 is required with 
the balance due 
upon arrival and will be returned upon inspection of the home within seven days of the end of your 
stay. The 
State of Maine has a 7% lodging tax.  Please contact us with any addtional questions or concerns.
