The Islander in Boothbay

Welcome to The Islander -- an original 1950 Maine summer cottage on a
beautiful wooded hillside on
the Cove of the River on Sawyers Island. There is use of a deep water
dock or a mooring. This
gorgeous 50's cottage was renovated in 2008 and features custom made
birch furniture, new appliances
and an original wood floor. There is a side deck to relax on and
enjoy the sounds of nature. Watch
the lobster boats checking their traps from your living room or deck.

Boothbay Region has several hiking and walking preserves. The Gregory
Preserve is located across
the driveway. It is a beautiful walking preserve. A short 1/2 mile
walk is the Trevett Bridge and
General Store. The Bridge is still manually operated so the boats can
pass through. This is quite an
interesting site to watch while you are sitting on the deck of the
General Store eating a delicious
Maine Lobstah roll, as they call it in Maine. The P.O. is also here.
The Botanical Gardens are a
few minutes away by car. There are some spectacular walking paths
through the gardens. A Cafe that
serve delicious lunches. About 10 minutes by car there are many
activities to do and see. Shops,
Galleries,Restaurants,an Ice Cream Parlor,Coffee and Wine
Bar,Library,Opera House,Charters and
Cruises,Ferry to Monhegan Island. Also an outstanding YMCA, full
service Grocery,Railway
Museum,Marine Aquarium,Live Theater, 18 hole Golf Course, Mini-Golf
and much more...

RATES: WEEKLY AND MONTHLY ( Check in is Sat. 2:00PM Check out is Sat 10:00 AM) A week runs Sat to
Sat.
May -- $500 plus $100.00 cleaning fee -- Monthly rate $2000.
June - $500 plus $100.00 Cleaning fee -- Monthly rate $2000.
July $600 plus $100.00 cleaning fee -- Monthly rate $2000.
August-$650 plus $100.00 cleaning fee -- Monthly rate $2000.
Sept --$600 plus $100.00 cleaning fee -- Monthly rate $2000.
Oct ---$500 plus $100.00 cleaning fee -- Monthly rate $2000.
A 7% Maine Tax will be added to the total rate. A $200. deposit is
required. If there is no damage after check-out, deposit will be
refunded.
$50.00 per week & $100 per month for each 3rd or 4th person.
Cancellation policy: $200 fee charged if canceled within a month of
arrival date.( less than 30 days to arrival date)

50% of total amount is due to hold reservation.  30 days prior to date of arrival the rest of the money is due in full.
