Vacation Rental Description

      Located on a rise overlooking Estes Park and Rocky Mountain 
National Park, The Appenzell Inn is a man made jewel, complementing 
the best nature has to offer.
  The Appenzell Inn is a Swiss inspired hotel/suite property, custom 
designed, detailed, and maintained to a very high standard.
  Spectacular views of the snow capped peaks of Rocky Mountain 
National Park are framed in your living room window,and in season, 
the landscaping and flowers are breathtaking.
  An indoor heated pool is available all year.  
  The main shopping area of Estes Park is a very short drive or a 15 
minute walk away, where restaurants abound as well as fine shops and 
galleries.
  Scenic daytrips in all directions, (even to Denver, an 
hour and a half away), or hiking in the back country of Rocky 
Mountain National Park can fill your days, followed by a dip in the 
pool or a soak in your tub. 

Vacation Rental Amenities

    Your one or optional two bedroom air-conditioned unit has 
everything to make your stay most enjoyable.
  Besides the beautiful indoor pool, the property also has an 
intimate Bier Stube, (Pub), which is open weekends for guests to 
gather.
  Your unit will have a king bed in each bedroom as well as a large 
closet, TV and VCR.
  There is a two person jetted tub in your bath as well as a separate
shower and large vanity.
  In the living room you will find a queen sofa sleeper with new 
frame and visco-elastic foam mattress, plus two soft chairs and a 
table with four chairs.  The living room also has a gas fireplace, 
TV w VCR, and desk.
  Your Kitchen is not large but will handle most chores short of 
roasting a turkey. (You’re on vacation, right!)  There’s also a gas 
grill outside and a grocery store just down the road.

Activities and Attractions

    Most people come for the natural beauty, wildlife viewing, and 
hiking opportunities in the National Park.  Bird watchers, 
photographers, naturalists, painters, bikers, fishermen, shoppers, 
and historians will all find opportunity in Estes Park.  Summer is 
the busiest season but there are enjoyments at all times of year.
    In the Fall, the Aspen change color, the weather is cool, and 
the Elk viewing is the best you will find.
    In the Winter it’s cold and quiet with the main activities being 
cross country skiing, snowshoeing, and shopping.  Being on the East 
side of the continental divide, there are no high passes to cross to 
get back to the airport or Denver.
    The Spring offers some of everything; warmer in the lower 
elevations but still snow higher up.  It might rain, it might snow, 
but the sun always comes out to warm things up.
    To help plan your stay, the owners, (30 year residents of Estes 
Park), or Appenzell manager, live on-site, plus the Estes park 
Visitors Center is just down the road.

Special rates are available for the last half of August, 07.        
Daily maid service, twice a week with new linens, and a 
final cleaning is included, however, this does not release the guest 
from being charged for undue wear and damage.
        Up to 2 additional persons can be added at $15/day/person.

The Appenzell Inn has a very strict NO SMOKING and NO PET policy.  
All guests will sign a security contract with the Hotel guaranteeing 
payment of a $250 penalty if they smoke, bring tobacco products or 
pets on the property, or cause other damage.

Deposit:  One half or two nights lodging whichever is greater.
Cancellation:  30 days, (60 days June thru September), prior to 
arrival date, the deposit will be returned minus a $50 cancellation 
fee.  Within the 30, (60), day period, there is no refund available 
for any reason and the deposit is forfeited. 

Rates are subject to change without notice.  Minimum night stays are 
required at certain weekend, peak, and holiday times.  Rates are 
subject to 8.7% tax and fees.

Guests are responsible for all nights reserved.  Refund and 
rescheduling is not available for early departure or late arrival.
