Vacation Rental Description

This house is on one of Ajijic’s best village streets in the center of town which is the main reason 
why I bought the house. I like the charm and the conveniences of living in the village. It is a half 
of block to the Lake and newly renovated Park and just 2 blocks from the Ajijic Plaza.  A fun 
restaurant/bar has recently opened at the end of the pier, just a minute walking distance.  Grocery, 
galleries, Movie Theater, bakery, florists, bus route and more restaurants are all within walking 
distance as well.  The house has been completely remodeled inside and out to fit the needs of a 
discriminating Westerner. I am an interior designer by trade so you will find it very well 
decortated.
A car is not necessary due to the convenient loacation.  Most people who come here enjoy walking as 
you get a real feel for the quaint town by foot.
This very colorful house is done in a tasteful Mexican flare.  It has 2 bedrooms upstairs- one with 
a Queen Size bed, television, VCR hutch, dresser and desk. It also has a door that goes onto a small 
patio with a table and 2 chairs so that you can watch the people walk by on their way to the lake or 
just bask in the sun. There is another larger terrace with stunning views of the mountains and 
equipped with a small round eating table and 2 chairs.  The other room has 2 twin beds and a small 
sun deck with a view of the patron church embedded into the mountain.  Both rooms have comfortable 
beds with nice sheets and foam toppers. 
The bathroom upstairs is quiant and has a very large shower which 2 people can fit in very 
comfortably and is completely done in talavera tile. The sink, toilet and towel racks all have a 
very fun pansy floral design which gets lots of positive comments. The downstairs bathroom has been 
recently added and it has a nice size tub with beautiful tile and fixtures. 
The new tile flows throughout the downstairs and patio and up the stairs. The flooring upstairs is 
refinished Saltillo tile. 
The kitchen is very spacious with an island and tinted sky windows for lots of lighting. It is 
equipped with many sufficient cooking utensils to make your stay easy and enjoyable. There is a bar 
that opens up to the dining area where you will find 4 bar stools to match the 6 chairs in the 
dining area. This home is inviting for entertaining purposes. The dining opens into the living room 
with 2 large arches. The living room has a kiwi colored suede couch, loveseat and chair.  There is a 
coffee table, 2 side tables and an ottoman.. It is equipped with a very large hutch which houses a 
television, VCR, stereo with CD player and lots of books. 
Off the living room is a nice patio which has a table for 4 persons to enjoy outdoor dining. There 
is also a wonderful wall fountain that makes lovely water sounds. The patio can be accessed from the 
kitchen or the living room. The laundry room which has a stackable washer and dryer is located off 
the patio.

$100 per day/3 day minimum
$450 per week based on 2 person occcupancy
