Vacation Rental Description

Moose Cabin Getaway is a two level cabin. It is located near Bryson 
City, a quiet and beautiful small mountain town, just outside of the 
Great Smoky Mountains National Park. Sit on our porch and enjoy the 
colorful changing of the fall leaves or watch the fireflies play at 
night! 

The cabin has 3 bedrooms, 2 full bathrooms, a fully equiped kitchen 
and a game room. Fresh towels and linens are provided at the 
beginning of each stay. It is easily accessible and available for 
year-round rental.

We can even have the pantry stocked and ready for when you arrive!

Vacation Rental Amenities

Downtairs:
  - 2 bedrooms with a queen size bed in each
  - TV (with DirecTV)and DVD in Master Bedroom
  - 1 full bathroom
  - living room with woodburning fireplace, TV(with DirecTV), DVD
  - fully equiped kitchen with dishwasher, microwave, pots, pans,
    place settings and flatware for 12, coffeemaker, toaster,and 
    just about anything you may need
  - dining room
  - game room with pool table, electronic dart board, and games for
    the whole family

Upstairs:
  - 1 large bedroom with 4 full size beds
  - 1 full bathroom with a free standing claw tub/shower

Outside:
  - large covered wooden porch with open deck area

Activities and Attractions

Enjoy the many waterfalls of the area that are found in the Great 
Smoky Mountains National Park, Nantahala National Forest, and the 
Pisgah National Forest. 

Go hiking, whitewater rafting, canoeing, tubing, or fishing. Take a 
Jetboat or an ATV ride (in the Nantahala and Chattahoochee National 
Forests) or enjoy both!

Relax on a train ride on the Great Smoky Mountains Railroad through 
the scenic country side while enjoying a gourmet dinner and helping 
solve a mystery!

Travel deep into the earth and explore the Tuckaleeche, the Lost Sea, 
Ruby Falls or the Linville caverns. 

If you're not afraid of heights, go visit Chimney Rock, Grandfather 
Mountain or Fontana Dam (the tallest dam east of the Rockies!). 

Take the kids gem mining, panning for gold, or the Fun Factory. Visit 
Ober Gatlinburg Amusement Park and Ski Resort in Gatlinburg, TN.

Visit the Cherokee Indian Reservation for museums, theatre, arts and 
crafts and the Harrah Casino. You will also find the Oconaluftee 
Indian Village that will take you back in time.  
 
Go shopping in the charming towns of Dillsboro and Sylva. Or at the 
many shops at the Whistle Stop in Franklin.

Historic Ashville and the many other attractions of Gatlinburg, TN 
are only an hour away. You're about three hours from Atlanta and 
Charlotte and just two hours from Greenville, Knoxville and 
Chattanooga.
