1950's Hawaiiana styled home recently remodeled by custom home
builder/owner. Peaceful idealic setting overlooking Kalihiwai bay,
sunsets of the Na Pali mountains, Bali Hai. You will not want to
leave, but there is everything the north shore has to offer.

The pictures were taken from the back porch and family room (except
for the one of the front of the house). We are not near Kalihiwai
Bay. We are on Kalihiwai Bay. Watch the surfers and listen to the
children laughing on the beach below.

We have soothing tropical trade winds that uniquely benefit homes up on the hill.  Two beaches (Kalihiwai and Secret Beach) are a short walk away.  Kalihiwai has fluffy soft sand and more protected water.  Secret Beach has thunderous surf and tide pools in the lava flow portions of the beach.

This is natural Hawaii as you hoped it would be.  Breathtaking views, rainbows, dolphins and whales in the bay, privacy and absolute serenity.

We do not have rattan furniture, glass top breakfast nooks, nightly luaus for 500 tourists and nothing is painted pink or mauve.

We do have a comfortable home setting the way you would do it if it was yours, soothing colors, hand picked artwork, natural wood floors, views from practically every room, cool breezes, a huge kitchen and a small TV.

We are a great house for family reunions, weddings and doing absolutely nothing (if you have to, there is high speed wireless).  We call our web site "My Kauai home", because that is what you will call it after you stay with us and are part of our ohana.  We have many repeat guests, so ask one of them if you would like (as long as you don't want their dates).
