Umbagog Lake House in Newry

The Umbagog Lake House is situated on Lake Umbagog in Upton, Maine. It has a private dock for your
boat or personal water craft. The house has a large deck for entertaining and enjoying the views of
the pristine Lake Umbagog and surrounding mountains. You could be witness to spectacular
sunsets, as well as enjoying all the wildlife refuge has to offer.

The house features: Vaulted ceilings, French doors and large windows looking out toward the lake, 3
large bedrooms, second floor loft area, 2 good size bathrooms, large fully equipped kitchen and
dining room area and large brick fireplace in the middle of the living room. The interior expresses
a unique country theme that will add to your experience of our exquisite log home.  Also newly completed additional room in basement (walk out french doors) with TV, futon and sleeper sofa.

The area has many places to explore, including a 14 mile long lake in the front yard. Grafton Notch
State Park is just a few miles away, and there are many miles of roadways where moose and deer seem
to like to watch you as much as you do them.

In the winter skimobiling is great.  Trails start from the end of your driveway or from your front yard onto the lake. 

First Floor:
Living room: Views. fully furnished w/a sleeper sofa (queen sized), recliners, DishTV,
DVD,VHS. French doors lead out to the deck and to the screened in porch.
Dining room: Views. Large table serves as many as 10-12, and a long countertop serves 6.
Kitchen: Views. Stove, refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave, coffee maker,cookware etc.
1st floor bath:6 foot tub with dual shower heads, dual vanity sinks, full length mirror.
Laundry area: washer and dryer on the first floor.
Master bedroom: Queen sized bed, large closet.

Second Floor:
Loft: sleeper sofa(full size), desk. Loft looks down toward the dining and living room areas,
and has large windows that face toward the lake and mountain views.
Guest Bedroom#1: Queen sized bed, large closet.
Guest Bedroom#2: 2 Full sized beds, closet.

Outside:
10x40 foot deck(3sides)
10x12 foot screened in porch with entry through living room or deck.
Gas grill.
Large parking area.

Snowmobiling:on 14 mile long Lake Umbagog, also land trails start at the end of the driveway.
