The Safety harbor Spa is within walking distance and the bay is two
blocks away.

Tampa Bay is two blocks to the east.  The Safety Harbor Pier is 1/2 mile and a great walk anytime of the year.

In terms of city budget, investment in Parks (dont miss a picnic lunch in Phillippe Park), Sidewalks, Community, Safety Harbor is the best city in the Tampa Bay Area. 

Downtown is very quaint and is less than 1/2 mile walk.  With the world famous Safety Harbor Spa, upscal downtown shops and restaurants are within walking distance.

Eat at Frenchy's Rockaway Grill on Clearwater Beach (buffalo shrimp, cajun grouper sandwich, shee crab soup, grouper nuggets)---8 miles west.  Get there by 10am-11am for no hassles with parking.

Picnic in Phillippe Park in Safety Harbor (1 mile).  This is the oldest park in Pinellas County and also the burial spot for Count Phillippe who brought graepfruits / oranges to Florida.

Tampa Bay Down for live horse racing (In Oldsmar, 6 miles)

Ice Cream at Sun Groves on 3393 SR 580 (2 miles----get the vanilla and orange twist).  Also be sure to get the handmade salsa.

Dinner at Arigato Japanese Steak House (corner of 19 and Countryside Blvd)
