Snail's Pace Retreat, an Island Getaway in North Captiva Island

Welcome to Snail's Pace! From the first time you board the water taxi
at Pineland you feel that you've embarked on an adventure. Then as
the boat glides into Hidden Cove you know it.
Snail's Pace is an island retreat that is only a short walk from
either the beaches or a quaint resort area. Your view of the sunsets
over the gulf from the oversized screen porch on the third level is
spectacular. Stargaze or bird watch from the open deck. See the Gulf
or the Bay from every window on the top floor. Our home is
comfortably decorated and follows the "upside down plan," i.e., the
bedrooms are on the first floor, the living area on the second.

3 bedroom 3 1/2 bath with a bunk bed in the den. Sleeps 8
comfortably and the queen sofa sleeper in the living can handle two
more. Cable TV in two bedrooms. Living room boasts a large screen
TV with DVD and Video Cassettes. And a CD player. Fully equipped
spacious kitchen,ice maker, full size washer and dryer. All soap,
sponge and paper towels included. Downstairs private outdoor shower.
Charcoal BBQ grill,Private beach area for parking your golf cart.
North Captiva Club Membership: 2 Pools, spa and pool bar. Fun shack
and chairs for the beach, Boat Docks, Restaurants and general store.
One golf cart included. High speed internet available

Beach walking, hiking, swimming, fishing, tennis on clay courts,
basketball court,kayaking, bike riding, bird watching, flora and
fauna, reading and games (see our library). Fun Shack staff assists
with jet ski rentals or boat rentals and fishing charters.
