City Lights by Central Park in Manhattan

Guests receive keys to come and go as they please and receive the
fixings for a continental breakfast. All of our hosts are cultivated,
warm professionals most of whom have worked with City Lights for years
and enjoy offering their accommodations to travelers. All of our
accommodations provide linens and towels.

This is a very attractive, bright, airy, quiet, immaculate and
spacious 3 bedroom hosted accommodation. The guest rooms with 11 ft
ceilings, are in an up scale Upper West Side location, in an elegant
townhouse, on West 95th Street between Central Park West and Columbus
Avenues, across the street from Central Park. This accommodation, 2
flights are on a separate floor from the owner’s bedroom. One bedroom
comes with a very large private 17 x 17 foot room with an ornamental
fireplace and sofa as well as plenty of closet space. The master bed
room comes with a queen bed. The 2nd bedroom is also very large and
bright and comes with a full sized double bed, ornamental fireplace
and armoire. There is one full modern bathroom in between the bedrooms
with a tub and shower. The 3rd smaller bedroom, off the Master
bedroom, comes with a single bed and is also very bright. In addition
are cable TV, wireless internet and AC. There is also a spacious paved
garden area off the kitchen that can be used in warm weather that will
come with table and chairs.

Guests enter through the garden door into a very large contemporary
style dining room/kitchen area where they can help themselves to the
fixings for a continental breakfast in the morning. Guests are also
welcome to store prepared foods, and beverages in the frig or make
themselves coffee, tea or a simple meal. One flight up is a 30 x 20 ft
parlor room with Victorian style furniture and ornamental fireplace.
Guests are welcome to use this area during their stay. We must note
that the owner has a cat that never goes up stairs. Note: The owners
work all day except for the weekends.

This location is steps to Central Park and the neighborhood is replete
with a wide variety of restaurants, pubs, shops, cafes and gourmet
food stores as well as the Park which offers a wonderful space to walk
and relax. Transportation is very easy to find: the B,C train can be
taken from 96th Street on Central Park, taxis can be hailed anywhere
and at anytime. There are cross town buses on 96th, 86th and 79th
Streets that can take you to 5th Avenue and beyond in minutes, Buses
run up and down the Avenues 24 hours a day.
