Vacation Rental Description

Welcome to our home!  Our family has been enjoying the attractions 
of the Myrtle Beach area for over twenty years and we still can’t 
help but come back for more.  We hope staying in our home will make 
your visit more comfortable and enjoyable.  

This 7-year young, recently renovated, three bedroom, two full bath 
raised cottage is located in the highly desirable Arcadian Shores 
section of Myrtle Beach in the Shore Drive area.  A short walk to 
the beach (about 5 minutes) will allow you to enjoy the beach both 
day and night.  With Ocean Annie’s Beach Bar & Grill 
close by, the beach entertainment never ends.  Centrally located and 
minutes from Hwy 17 and the famous “Restaurant Row”, the 
possibilities for your vacation are endless.
The property comes fully furnished with a fully equipped kitchen and 
sleeps 6-8 comfortably.  There is also off-street parking avail for 
3-4 cars.  This home has been used primarily as a second residence 
and is in fabulous condition.  The property boasts gleaming hardwood 
floors in the living area, ceramic tile in the kitchen and baths, as 
well as new carpet in all three bedrooms.  With sliding glass doors 
from both the third bedroom and the living area onto the deck and 
cathedral ceilings, this unit is extremely bright and sunny and 
catches a welcome ocean breeze. There is plenty of space under the 
house to keep all of your “beach items” while you enjoy the night 
life on the Grand Strand. We have done our best to make your stay as 
comfortable and convenient as possible...videos, board games, Sega 
Dreamcast, and a 52" big screen TV are a few of the "extras" we have 
provided. There are over 1600 world-class dining 
establishments, attractions, shows and theatres.  The Dixie 
Stampede, The Carolina Opry, the Alabama Theatre, The House of 
Blues, Ripley’s Aquarium, Nascar Café, Hard Rock Café, Planet 
Hollywood, Barefoot Landing and Broadway on the Beach are all family 
favorites and all just minutes away! Myrtle Beach has also recently 
announced that it will be home of the first Hard Rock Amusement 
Park, opening in the spring of 2008. See below for more details.

For the die hard golfers, Myrtle Beach is the Nation’s Golf Capitol 
with over 100 beautiful and challenging golf courses, many within 15 
minutes of the cottage. We encourage you to inquire about any golf 
packages we may be offering.  

Within walking distance is the Apache Pier, the longest fishing pier 
on the East Coast. Bring your own fishing gear or just rent what you 
need from the pier.  Also within walking distance is the “Straw 
Market” where you can find bike rentals, a Subway sandwich shop, 
convenience store, pizza and ice cream shop, gift shop and arcade.
Less than a ½ mile you will find a Super Wal-Mart and a Kroger 24-
hour supermarket to cover all of your needs while visiting us, as 
well as the Tanger outlets for plenty of shopping.

EXCITING NEWS: HARD ROCK PARK TO OPEN!
After years of negotiations, it appeared that plans to build a Hard 
Rock Park were falling on deaf ears. Well, it's time to crank up the 
amps, because it's now official: Myrtle Beach, South Carolina will 
be the site of the world's first Hard Rock Park. According to an 
announcement made today by Hard Rock International, the company that 
operates the chain of Hard Rock restaurants, and a group of 
investors behind the project, the $400 million, 140-acre park will 
open in the spring of 2008. It will mark the first major theme park 
in North America in a number of years. The site, near U.S. 501, will 
be a few miles inland from Myrtle Beach's Grand Strand. Plans call 
for roller coasters and other themed rides, an amphitheater for live 
concerts, restaurants, retail stores, and a Hard Rock Hotel. I think 
a rock-music themed park makes incredible sense and will be a big 
hit. Can't you see it now? The Tom Petty "Free Fallin' " tower ride? 
Ozzy's "Crazy Train?" Yes' "Roundabout" carousel? And how about 
naming a flying roller coaster after Lynyrd Skynyrd's "Freebird?" 
Previous plans called for the park to be open year-round, although 
today's statement made no mention of the proposed operating calendar.
