Vacation Rental Description

Anam Cara is so named by its Irish owner to provide its guests with 
a full understanding of the character of this beautiful home.  These 
Gaelic words mean Soul Friend and the Irish believe that when you 
find your true soul friend that you have also  found HOME. Anam Cara 
is a beautiful, Castle Style, 4k sq ft luxuriously comfortable home, 
situated on 6 beautiful acres of high desert hill. A perfect get-
away, a place to retreat. Enjoy year round moderate temperature and 
clear skies. At night, you will be entertained by the sparkliest 
stars as you choose to swim in the pool (solar powered so water is 
warm even at night)or wade in the hot tub. Kitchen is fully equipped 
so if you choose to prepare your own meal you will get to enjoy 
beautiful sunset from your dining room or you may want to go for a 
short drive to town or the nearby Palm Springs for fine restaurants 
or over 100 golf courses. We are ideally located within 
walking distance to Black Rock Canyon Pk and approximately 10 minute 
drive to the West Entrance of Joshua Tree National Park. Golfing and 
antique shopping are available within town. Also, Casinos and Outlet 
shopping are approx 30 mins away, while Big Bear Lake is a one hour 
drive, Colorado River, 2 hours and Las Vegas a mere 3 hours.  
Disneyland is about 1.5 hours, San Diego 2.5 hrs, and Tijuana Mexico 
about 3 hours.
The views are intensely beautiful and, we believe, that once you 
come to visit as a guest you will return to visit as a friend. 

Vacation Rental Amenities

Tir Na Og Suite (Land of forever young), or honeymoon suite a term  
many of our guests use to describe it, is furnished with an Eastern 
King size bed, Pine Furniture, walk in closet, two sink countertop 
in bathroom, two shower heads, large and deep tub, toilet and 
bidet.  It also has a beautiful tiled fireplace and is supplied with 
TV, DVD, VCR and Stereo.  Is has a separate patio with wicker swing 
and patio furniture, just steps to the pool and hot tub.

The Foxhunt Suite is furnished with a Queen size bed, Wicker 
Furniture, walk in closet, beautifully tiled full bathroom, TV, DVD, 
VCR, Stereo, and separate access to back, covered, patio, and 
gardens. 

St. Brigid's room is furnished with a Queen size bed, built in 
closet, White Wicker furniture, TV, DVD, VCR, and Stereo and is 
located directly in front of a beautifully tiled full bathroom.

Children Of Lir, a very large room, is furnished with a Cal King and 
Twin size beds, White Wicker Furniture, TV, DVD, VCR, and 
Stereo. This room has a completely separate entrance and shares a 
bathroom.

Ginny's room, is bright and medium sized, furnished with a Double 
size bed, built in closet, desk/chair, and TV,DVD, VCR and shares a 
bathroom.

Fireplaces in the casual living room/dining room, formal dining room 
and formal living room.
