Vacation Rental Description

This Pine Trail Cottage is a year round family friendly lakeside home for weekly rental on pristine 
spring-fed Phillips Lake in Lucerne-in-Maine.  The water frontage includes a large cedar dock, sandy 
shore frontage, perfect for swimming, diving, or relaxing on a deck chair.  If you enjoy getting out 
on the water, bring your canoe or kayak – you can launch it from the shore.  There are plenty of 
places to explore and fish.  There is a collection of kid’s toys and books available, and the doors 
and cabinets can be child proofed if requested.  Pine Trail is right off of Route 1A between Bangor 
and Ellsworth.  It’s a 45 minute drive to Acadia National Park, 20 minutes to Bangor International 
Airport, and central to Bangor, Brewer and Ellsworth.  The Lucerne Inn is less than 5 minutes up the 
road which includes a golf course and fine dining.  5 minutes away in nearby Holden is a post 
office, Dunkin’ Donuts, Subway, G&M variety/gas station, and the Squire (snacks, groceries, and 
takeout).  There is a public boat launch nearby.  Maximum 8 guests.

Vacation Rental Amenities

This home has a master bedroom with queen size bed, a loft area with two twin beds, and bedroom on 
the main floor with a twin bed and a portable crib.  There is a pull-out couch to sleep two 
additional guests in the living room.  There is one full bath, kitchen, dining area, living room, 
and finished basement.  Home has many amenities including dishwasher, washer/dryer, gas stove and 
range, refrigerator, freezer with ice maker, and dining table.  Each bedroom has a fan available.  A 
finished basement has a TV with Satellite, DVD and VCR player, and a ping pong table.  There is a 
screened porch and open deck facing the water with Vermont Casting gas grill and mini fridge, plenty 
of seating, and small fenced in back yard (great for young kids!).  Utilize the firepit or just 
lounge in the beach chairs.  Linens are provided including beach towels.  Also available are 
assorted swim floaties and kids life jackets.  There is no phone available but most cell phones will 
pick up good service.  No smoking please.

Activities and Attractions

Swimming, boating, fishing, playground at school 3 minute drive, walking/running, enjoy Acadia 
National Park 45 minutes away.

Vacation Rental Rates

Deposit: $250 to reserve week, non-refundable
Weekly Rates: $1000 June through August, $800 September, balance due in full two weeks prior to stay
Security Deposit: $200 upon check-in, refundable
Maine State Lodging Tax: 7%
