Vacation Rental Description

Located between Petoskey and Harbor Springs our lovely restored 1878 cottage is perched on the 
premiere Bay View location right by the lake. Earlianna cottage exudes the charm of the 19th 
century, but with features and amenities of the 21st.  

First floor Lily inspired king bedroom has cable and connecting bath.  Upstairs The Yellow Room and 
The Boat Room each have twin beds. The Stratford and Monet bedrooms have singles.

Separate dining room. The family room with cable leads to a very large sun deck.   The front porch 
and  windowed living room span the width of the house. The fully equipped kitchen has every 
convenience with  McKenzie-Childs accents.

You will see it all from the cottage!  Sail boats galore!(races Wed., Sat., Sun.) Luxury yachts and 
tiny boats, kayakers and parasailors, water skiers.  An occasional freighter slips by. The panorama 
of the sunrises over Petoskey Beach and the Million Dollar Sunsets on Lake Michigan are remembrances 
never to be forgotten.  With direct private access to the water, the beach and harbor are just steps 
away.  We have it all!

This art-filled cottage dances in colors and is dressed in antique wicker and comfortable couches 
and chairs.  Watercolors by Rizzola and numerous objets d’art are featured.  In a relaxed atmosphere 
of comfortable elegance and a tradition of hospitality we make an extraordinary commitment to 
provide a quality of experience for the discriminating vacationer.  The price truly reflects the 
value.

Standard amenities include: wireless internet/cable TVs/VCR/DVD/barbecue/wood-burning 
fireplace/piano/telescope/binoculars/eating bar/washer and dryer/parking.

Activities and Attractions

Bay View is on the National Register of Historic Places and holds impressive credentials for 
recreation and cultural options. It is a focal point for summer activity in the area.  At the Bay 
View beach you will find  swimming, boating, volley ball, tennis courts, Teen Center, Sailing 
School, sailboat and kayak rentals.  Boys and Girls Clubs for ages 3 through teens.  

At the park swing the kids at the new playground, walk the grounds and capture the 
gingerbread on cottages and public buildings, mail a letter at the old post office,  check 
out a book at the library,  visit the Craft House, the chapel, old hotels, go to daily lectures, 
foreign films, take classes in painting, gourmet cooking, bridge, knitting, and much more.

Bay View is located in a world of special places and bustles to the beat of all things Petoskey and 
Harbor Springs.  Each town offers a flourish of everything wonderful:  art galleries, fine shopping, 
world class golf, dining is always fun and fabulous, top-notch casino, full service marinas, nature 
paths, Old Indian trail, fishing, horse back riding, bike trail from Harbor Springs to Charlevoix, 
sky-diving, parasailing, the golden beach at Petoskey State Park, the scenic drive to Cross Village, 
incomparable Mackinac Island.
