Vacation Rental Description

Imagine yourself waking to the warm soothing colors of this Spanish-style condo, appointed with 
luxurious bedding and decorative accents.  The queen-size bed in the master bedroom is perfect for 
sipping coffee while enjoying the early morning breeze.  A cozy reading nook with recliner, TV, and 
floor lamp is also sure to be a favorite spot for relaxing.  Another equally beautiful bedroom 
offers your choice of a King-size bed or two twins.  The balcony, with the sound of the ocean waves 
and the view, sets the tone for a beautiful beginning or ending to your vacation days on Anastasia 
Island.

The dining area is perfect for entertaining friends or for a romantic dinner for two.  Enjoy artwork 
by local artist Tripp Harrison while you dine.  Festive tableware and glassware are available for 
your enjoyment in the fully equipped kitchen.  Wireless Internet in J-35 makes it easy and quick for 
you to stay current with your friends and associates via emails and internet searches on your 
laptop.  Although pets are our best friends, we have a no-pets policy in our condo unit.

With these amenities, you may want to spend most of your time in your vacation abode, but the beach 
and historic St. Augustine are beckoning.  J Building is adjacent to the heated pool, and the two 
tennis courts are close by.  On your short (4-minute) walk to the ocean, you pass the shuffleboard 
area, a second pool, and a Jacuzzi.  While crossing the private boardwalk, you may just be lucky 
enough to see a sea turtle nesting in the sand.

St. Augustine’s beaches are said to be some of the most beautiful beaches in the State.  Walking, 
bicycling, windsurfing, and lounging are peaceful, refreshing activities.  You may also want to 
drive your car to the beach and bring chairs or a picnic lunch.  There are fewer cars on our beaches 
than in some other larger cities, creating a very relaxed setting.

Activities and Attractions

Chances are that one of the main reasons you’ve decided to explore St. Augustine (other than the 
incredible beaches) is for the rich history and culture that abounds here.  Did you know…The Spanish 
colony of St. Augustine was founded in 1565, 42 years prior to the founding of Jamestown and 55 
years before that of Plymouth. The Castillo de San Marcos is a most significant site in St. 
Augustine and will probably be one of your first destinations in town.

A Trolley ride is a great way to get your bearings and discover all the nooks and crannies that 
would be impossible to find on foot!  The stops on the tour will be sure to become some of your 
favorite memories of St. Augustine.  We’ve provided maps for you created by the fun and informative 
company ResortMaps that will be a great guide as you make your way around the city and beach areas.

In addition to exploring downtown and lingering on the beach, there are many other wonderful 
experiences that await.  Make plans for a delightful picnic under the majestic oaks next to the 
Matanzas River at Washington Oaks State Park, which also offers a children’s play area for the 
kids.  Rent a pole and fish off the St. Johns County Ocean Pier (about 1 mile north). Golfing 
enthusiasts must visit World Golf Village which also has an IMAX theater on property.  

Shopping in St. Augustine is some of the best with the countless shoppes and eateries on world 
famous St. George Street, the exclusive shops on Cordova Street and at the fabulous Premium 
Outlets.  About a 45-minute drive north to Jacksonville offers great day-trip options at the  
Kingsley Plantation, and the Timucuan Preserve Visitor Center.  The Jacksonville Zoo and Gardens is 
a beautiful facility and is worth the trip.

      Cleaning Fee:  $70 plus tax (Add 9% to all rates:  6% State Sales Tax + 3% County Tax)
