Come stay in our gorgeous 6 bedroom, 3.5 bath, 7 year old replica Victorian  Mansion located across the street from the Buena Vista Lagoon in Carlsbad California. Celebrate life while enjoying a magnificent view of the lagoon and the beautiful Pacific Ocean. This home is very private, while being centrally located at the same time. Carlsbad and Oceanside have great beaches, wonderful local attractions, world class resorts, shopping, restaurants, and night life which all set the standard for an ultimate vacation destination. Only 30 minutes north of downtown San Diego, 90 minutes south of Los Angeles, and 1 1/2 hours from either the mountains or the desert... you could not ask for a more perfect location!  Completely furnished with high end antiques, all linens, and a gourmet kitchen equipped with everything you need to cook and dine.
The Granny Flat can sleep an additional 5 - 6 people and has it's own full kitchen, bath, and private entrance.  Also, we have just installed a 55" Flat Screen HD TV with Blu Ray!  There are leather chairs and a comfy couch for you to watch your favorite movies or sporting events in comfort!

2012 Recession Rates

Daily rent for Main House Only with a 3 night minimum $750.00

Weekly rent for Main House Only - (6 or 7 days) $2,800.00 

Daily rent for Main House + Granny Flat with a 3 night minimum $1,000.00

Weekly rent for Main House + Granny Flat (6 or 7 days) $3,800.00The sleeping accommodations for Main House: STANDARD – 11 - MAXIMUM 14.  Occupancy over 14 people will be an extra charge of $50.00 per person, per night. 

The sleeping accommodations for Granny Flat: STANDARD 5 / MAXIMUM 8.  Occupancy over 8 people will be an extra charge of $50.00 per person, per night.

Christmas and Thanksgiving rates are $3,500.00 for the Main House or $4,500.00 for both the Main House + the Granny Flat. 

Weeks begin on Monday at 3:00 p.m. and end on the following Monday at 9:00 a.m. unless otherwise discussed with owner.

No Daily or Weekly rental of Granny Flat at all.  Must be rented with Main House.

All rates are in US Dollars 

When making your reservation, we will send you a rental agreement which you will sign and return along with your reservation deposit, which is 1/2 of the rent.  Then at least 5 business days prior to your arrival, you pay the balance  which is the other half of the rent, a 10% occupancy fee, a $150.00 or $200.00 cleaning fee, plus a refundable $500.00 security deposit.  Pet deposits are extra.  You may pay with cash, a personal check, or a credit card but not a cashier's check or money order.  If paying with a personal check, it must be received by us no later than 21 days in advance of your stay.

You must be over 21 to rent from us.  Not your friend, not your cousin but you, whose name is on the rental agreement.  Also, no drugs or underage drinking is allowed on the property. 

Smoking inside the house is not permitted but there is a smoking area provided outside.  Please use the butt cans!

Cancellation Policy: In the event of a cancellation it is necessary to notify owner as soon as possible. Attempts will be made to re-rent your accommodation. If we are successful, your deposit will be refunded, if more than 30 days from reservation date. This agreement shall not be assigned or the premises sublet without written consent of owner.
