My Sunshine - House with upgrades, comfort, convenience in Santa Rosa Beach

"My Sunshine" has been popular to families and friends alike. We get lots of return renters that make their annual vacation memories here. The house is set up to make your stay relaxing and comfortable as possible. We've been the only owners and put a lot of time and effort to make sure your stay is comfortable and easy. The house is near the front of the neighborhood, a few steps from the pool, and a few more steps to the beach. The cottage style community of Old Florida Village on 30-A is beautifully landscaped with two pools, lighted streets and white picket fences. It’s close to everything but tucked back so kids can play in the driveway or ride bikes around the block and not be exposed to 30-A traffic

4 bedrooms/ 3 full baths. Lots of room for families. If you chose to spend some time indoors, the well designed living room with a big oversized sectional couch is perfect for lounging around. A brand new flat screen TV with full cable package and surround sound means you don't have to compromise entertainment, even on vacation. Outdoor speakers allow you to set the mood for an evening outdoor cocktail party on one of the three decks. Hardwood floors throughout the family and living room, tile in the kitchen and carpet in the bedrooms keep "My Sunshine" comfortable and casual. The house has free WIFI.  New Beds, new bedding and a new kitchen table as well.

Another great convenience, a keyless lock on the door. You get your own code for your stay. No more worrying about picking up keys at a rental office or losing them!

 A well appointed kitchen includes stainless steel appliances and granite countertops, including a large breakfast bar. Kitchen conveniences include microwave, ice maker, dishwasher, toaster and coffee maker/coffee grinder. Coffee and teas are available for you each morning, one less thing you need to worry about at "My Sunshine". And if outdoor cooking is more desirable, a gas grill is at your disposal.

 The 4 bedrooms are made up of a king in the master suite with a garden tub and separate shower. Additional bedrooms upstairs include a queen bedroom and a full bedroom with a full hall bathroom. Downstairs is 2 twins with an additional full bath. This gives everyone enough space to find some rest. Added bonus for the master bedroom... your own private deck with a swinging bench and chairs. All second floor bedrooms have large TV's with cable.

We get asked a lot, how far is the beach? For our family with two small kids it takes approx 8 minutes to walk from the neighborhood to the beach. The closest beach access we recommend is outside the neighborhood, across the street to the left, behind Goatfeathers. It has picnic tables, restrooms and lifeguards during the summer season. If you want to swim closer to home, one of the two community pools is right in front of the house! We provide beach towels and beach toys, one less thing you have to pack from home.

There is so much to do so close by. Down the street of 30-A is Gulf Place which has dining, shopping and spa options. Swimming, bike rental, horseback riding, golf are all within minutes. 30-A has a wonderful wide path to walk/run/ride bikes. Seaside and WaterColor are 6 miles down the road. Destin is a 10 minute drive and is great for shopping, movies, nightlife, and kid’s activities. And a brand new Publix grocery store is 5 minutes away so you spend less time at the store and more time on the sand.

Fall... September 5 - December 31  ........$165/night  $990/week
Summer rental is one week minimum.
