Welcome to "Our Mountain Hideaway,” this spectacular three level log cabin home is the perfect 
location for family vacations or couples; celebrate an anniversary, honeymoon, or just a great 
summer getaway to the mountains.

“Thank you sooooo much for allowing us the opportunity to stay in your home, we had such a wonderful 
time! The house is beautiful as well as the sights! One of my favorite things is the swing on the 
front porch! We hope to be able to stay there again, and maybe share our experience with 1 or 2 more 
couples. They were all so envious when they saw our photos. The house was wonderful, you were 
wonderful for accommodating us, the decorations were adorable, and the view was just amazing. Thank 
you so much again for the opportunity. We are extremely grateful.

Our Mt. Hideaway is situated on an acre of private land and nestled within the mountains at an 
approximate elevation of 2800 feet. It's large wrap around deck offers breathtaking Mountain and 
Valley views, along with fresh mountain air, and nature’s ambiance. 

The covered deck has a wooden swing and rocking chairs to enjoy the incredible views and harmony 
that nature has to offer.

The expansive deck area has a Hot Tub for five, a BBQ gas grill, and a picnic table for your leisure.

The cabin’s interior is all native pine with cathedral ceilings, decorated with rustic and modern 
cabin charm, with French windows and picturesque views from the loft. 

Our Mountain Hideaway offers all the comforts of home. 

The kitchen is fully equipped to make your favorite meals; coffee maker, blender, rice maker, pots 
and pans, silverware, baking dishes etc...!

The bedrooms are spacious with private full bathrooms. The living room area has a 36" TV, and the 
dining room has sitting for six. There is cable television in all the bedrooms, as well as 27" TV's 
and DVD players. We have plenty of linen and towels available for your use.

For your entertainment we have provided a Game room with an 8 ft Slate Pool table, Foosball table, 
and Electronic dart board. There is a TV and a stereo system to listen to your favorite CD’s. 

The Cane River is just a short walking distance from the cabin.

Other amenities include a stone gas fireplace, laundry room, movies, board games, iron, blow dryer, 
garage, telephone, and Internet service. 

Our cabin is also pet friendly (with prior approval).

We are conveniently located just 7 minutes from the historical town of Burnsville in Yancey County, 
which makes it close to civilization for shopping in a small town setting and yet far enough away to 
feel secluded. 

This unique charming town has art festivals, authentic craft and quilt shops, galleries, 
restaurants, beautiful mountain landscape, and lots of warm and friendly local hospitality. 

There are many things to do in this area, antique shops are both near and far, gem mining, horseback 
riding, hiking, rafting, tubing, forest areas, waterfalls and a variety of other nearby attractions.

We also have brochures in the cabin for your convenience.

The city of Asheville is 30 minutes from the cabin; visit the famous Biltmore House, Linville 
Caverns, or enjoy an amazing drive through the Blue Ridge Parkway.
