This charming cottage offers a bedroom/sitting area, a full kitchen,
plus an enclosed sun porch which overlooks the lake. There's a
ceiling fan over a fullsize bed and a full size futon on the enclosed porch. It is equipped with
cable TV, DVD, and wireless internet. The bathroom has a shower and an apartment size
washer and dryer. All cooking/eating utensils, plus all blankets,
pillows, sheets and towels are provided. There's even a bookcase
with games, books, & magazines. And for the occasional chilly
night - just turn on the baseboard heater.
The yard is both sunny and shady. There is a private dock for
swimming. You can use the 12' rowboat provided or bring your own boat or jet-ski and park it right outside your door. Outside amenities include a gas grill, picnic table, Adirondack
chairs, a brazier for campfires, and two car off-road parking.

The area is friendly and safe for walking, biking, waterskiing,
swimming, boating, and fishing. Lake Lashaway is 1 1/2 miles long
and ½ mile wide, and was rated one of the top bass fishing lakes in
Central Massachusetts by the Boston Herald.
Within walking distance to town, with three restaurants, post office, two beauty salons and public
library. It's only
a ¼ mile walk to the public beach with lifeguard during season.
Many activities are within a few short driving miles from the
cottage, including a golf course, bowling alley, Warren Farm and
Sugarhouse and Brookfield Apple Orchard, or just take a leisurely
drive through our beautiful surrounding towns. In less tha 30
minutes you could be in Old Sturbridge Village or Brimfield Antique
Markets. It's only 30 minutes to Worcester, 90 minutes to Foxwoods
or Mohegan Sun Casinos, 90 minutes to Boston and 3 1/2 hours to New
York City.
This cottage is perfectly suited for either a fun-filled active
vacation or a serene relaxing get-away.
