The enchanting, old-fashioned lakeside, town of Mount Dora, 26 miles
from Sanford Orlando Airport amongst the rolling hills and lakes of
beautiful Lake County in Central Florida. The town is characterized
as "little New England" by travel gurus and is known as the "antique
capital" of Florida.  Situated five blocks from downtown Mount Dora,
but still retains a degree of privacy around the quiet residential
neighborhood. Beautifully landscaped grounds with towering oaks
providing shade to the second-story screened-in patio. The town's
Lake Dora front setting features the antebellum Lakeside Inn. It is said to be
the oldest operating hotel in Florida; a place where you can sit in a
rocking chair on the porch watching the sunset sipping a home-made lemonade.
There are a dozen shops, quaint eateries, and open air pubs. The
town has gained a reputation for its art festival, boating regatta, antique, book fair, antique car, music and bicycle festivals held each year. Many visitors

cultural environment. However, the theme parks and attractions are less than an hour away.
